Nothing yet, apart from liking a few instagram pics. Plushenko said that he tried contacting her, but her phone is off.Any word from Yulia herself?
She also liked all comments [and still do it if new one appear] under her last post on IG from people thanking her and wishing all the best in future etc.Nothing yet, apart from liking a few instagram pics. Plushenko said that he tried contacting her, but her phone is off.
She probably met with Polina Makarova today https://www.instagram.com/p/BYktLWpgBYx/?taken-by=_makar2000_
Polina also posted video on her IG story with pandas : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ILgS2xevlw (What does "чтоб жопа слиплись" means?)

Plushenko and his wife were one of the very few people that defended her when she announced her retirement, "attacking" the media, athletes and public for turning their backs on her/forgetting what she did for the sport. That quote was part of him saying how he plans to support her, and would love to have her on his shows if she ever wanted that. I'm pretty sure their relationship is fineIf someone is reporting their attempts to contact her to the media or in the media then its probably a good thing that she is not in contact with that person.

oh, no you are wrong..Plushenko wanted to help her and defended her...
One of his statements:

Plushenko invited Lipnitskaya to his team
Olympic champion Evgeni Plushenko would like to see Julia Lipnitskaya among the participants of her show. The skater is going to give her the opportunity to skate in her team.
Plushenko told the R-Sport agency that he was ready to give Lipnitskaya a job after she announced her retirement. "I called Yulia, but her phone is turned off. One of these days I will contact her and talk to her agent. I want to invite her to my show and I want her to skate in my team. As part of the show - "The Snow King" and "The Nutcracker", I wanted to invite her to my anniversary (to me this year, 35 years). The life after the termination of career does not come to an end, it is necessary to train further, to go for a drive ",

I know (from what it seems) that Plushenko has a soft spot for Yulia, but truth be told I'm not sure if it would be best to accept his offer so soon. If she feels ready that'd be great, he has a great team and she can still skate without the competitions. But on the other hand, Plushenko's shows are heavily reported on and always get tones of attention. If Yulia were to work with him, the media would go crazy. Perhaps it's best for her to take her time, figure out what she wants, get some peace and quiet. But again, I'm not Yulia so I don't know what would really be best for her.
I'm not saying that Plushenko doesn't want to help/support her, but it looks questionable/disingenuous when he's making statements to the media (maybe multiple?, I don't understand Russian so I only know what he says via the board) regarding her and trying to contact her. Outside of trying to make himself look good, what's the purpose of repeatedly bringing her up? From his own mouth he has her phone number so to me there is no need for him to bring up in the media that he's contacting her.
Will keyboard-trigger-happy people stop calling talented, hardworking, growing young girls fat?...Nope
How about after they find out that said athlete's been treated for anorexia?...Nope :hslap:
Will tv bosses forgo profit for tack and dignity?...Nope :disapp:
Will the media ever develop a conscience?...NEVER :sarcasm:
At least two independent reports say that Yulia has decided to study for self-enrichment, and to seek a comfortable alternative to sports. Can anyone confirm this? This would be the ideal outcome, but so few of us can quickly slam the door on 15 years devoted to a single purpose, especially from age 4. If anybody can, it's Yulia. She is doing very well if true.
