I think its not only impressive that he won this major title coming back from an injury, but also the fact that he won the title by nearly 34 points! He totally dominated!

What I am specifically proud of this victory for him is that: he won this title because he has performed to his best.

Oh God, I'm still besides myself, but that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who has ever read anything from me (thinking about taking the vodka shots from the mini bar)

Machida just broke my heart and gave me a heart attack and then I was in for another heart attack for entirely different reasons. This skate was insane, oh my God. Beautiful! Awesome jumps, gorgeous spins, that Ina Bauer, oh my God I almost cried. After that fall I kept one eye on the clock and was just praying that he'd make it through the last few seconds.

Ooooh my God (today I became way more Christian than I've ever been) I so didn't see that coming but I can't tell you how happy I am, not just for him. We had such an insane party mood going on in our block during the medal ceremony, it was too awesome. He was so so so so SO HAPPY, it was just too much. And when Javier got onto the podium Yuzuru started to encourage the crowd to cheer even louder, when people already were cheering like crazy! That was pretty much the point that sealed my never-ending for this guy, I'm not even kidding, I might never ever get over this. So so so happy that I've been here tonight, this is just too crazy.

I have no words for how I feel, so I defer to Pamina's wisdom and writing, she said it all.
I have never seen Yuzuru so happy, and that made me the happiest I can possibly be. When he encouraged the crowd to cheer even louder for Fernandez, I Fell In Love with Hanyu. That was the sweetest thing ever and it showed such joy and love.

I cannot believe what I was witness to tonight, taking place meters away from me. I literally saw Hanyu gasp for breath at some point and just knew he was gonna fall, but also knew it wouldn't matter anymore because he was already miles ahead.

I feel so happy and so lucky, and I cried a few tears tonight.

I'M VERY HAPPY FOR HIM!! Great job Yuzuru I still think that this program could have much more improvements, there's a lot of details that he paid attention to at practice that he left out here, that's one of his biggest problems in performance departament that usually happens at the free, not at the short, but NEVERTHELESS deserving winner. It's a delight to see the way he flies across the ice, his speed, it's a quality that I find outstanding about him, it's one of the reasons my heart rating usually goes sky high when he's skating, it's like he's going to climb the boards

Edit: SEE HANYU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You doesn't need 3 quads to win, work with what you have!!! (Sorry, couldn't help myself, it was just a slip, I'm going back to disagreeing BUT still supporting his decisions right now, don't shame me )

I love that he smiled after the fall and then he was trying so hard at the end to hold that smile back until the last pose finished!
I'm just so happy that he could skate a good program here.
He opened the GPF Men's event with a mesmerizing program, and he ended it with a spectacular one. As the British Eurosport commentators said: Inspirational.

The energy coming from him was so noticeably happy all the way through both skates. And he was so naturally in control, being both focussed and free with his expression, making everything complete. So wonderful!

I'm so excited! I've been avoiding the forums because there's been so much personal stress for me that I couldn't add to it with figure skating stress but I'm SO happy to be able to run back here and jump up and down and cheer with you all! So excited for Yuzu! I'm so happy his confidence is back!
