Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

Free program
Hah, sorry, it confused me because I'm used to "free skate".
I'll quote all that they said about the skate:
"he's an incredible skater, incredible because although he failed the first 2 jumps he yet did 3 extremely difficult combos in the second half of the program. I have no idea where he gets the strength for this. His strength of mind is enormous."
(during the replay)
"you saw that the TES is lower than Denis Ten's. Hanyu gets extremely high PCS. It's justified, though, his skating is just fantastic, it's very light. Normally when you produce a flawed skate the PCS should fall. Often it doesn't apply to Hanyu"

That's basically it. The rest is about the pooh rain, Yuzuru's background etc.

They also say that there's a conflict of interests since Orser is coaching both Javi and Yuzuru and now he is supposed to tell Javi whether he should jump 3 quads or just 2. "The drama" :drama:, as one of them put it.

During the Javi's skate they were rooting for him really hard and compared the tension with them waiting for the Yuna Kim's scores in Sochi. Also they were shocked with the results because they could not figure out how he'd won though his TES was the same as Hanyu's(confused him with Ten somehow).

Thank you very much!

So still a chance for a clean Chopin? Awesome.

Is it known who other single skaters will join him in team Japan?

So would this mean Yuzuru will stay in Japan until WTT? Meaning he'll compete after training coachless again? :bang:

I don't mind whoever thy sent. Murakami and Shoma are also sensible choice. But I saw a doc shared yesterday of who qualified for WTT. Only yuzu and mura's name are on it. I don't know how they calculate points though.

I wish with all my heart that we will be able to see kanaka compete at least once more. But her name is not that qualified athlete list...it seems they only pick up the top 2 singles.
