I agree, with Yuzuru's skating right now, he possesses the one-of-a-kind appeal and charm that no one else has. For sure he can win over the rest of the field with 1 or 2 quads with a clean performance.
Is it really necessary for him to add 3 quads? (the general public probably doesn't even see the difference between 3 and 4 rotations, points aside)
Right now, I don't think it's necessary, but, as it was discussed here earlier today, it very well could be by 2018. I guess he would want to be comfortable with a 3-quad program by then, and for that, he would want to start incorporating it now?
It wouldn't be a good idea to go for it for the first time during the Olympic season, that's for sure.Side note: Yay for passing 1400 pages and 3 million views!!
