Yuzuru Hanyu: 2017-2018

His blade is black, so that he he can get rid of the silver color as much as possible.
Misha showed him the sample of the new blades, and they were plushenko's and they said king on it. Yuzu thought that it was so cool, he requested a feather to be engraved on his blades.

There was a long bit about costumes but I didn't write it down in time.

When Yuzu touched the ice with his hand after the LP, he was thinking, this is similar to the last ending pose at Sochi. So I hope someone will do a photo edit of this, so that it looks like one connects to the other.

Yuzu has 3 kinds of 'greetings' for his 3 coaches. A formal figure skating bow for Tracy, a handshake for Brian, and a firmer grip for Briand.

He's amazed that fans picked up on this...they are observant. I observe them (fans) too.

oooh, my first guess was right! It's RJ1 time.

When I heard this as a child, I wanted skate to this and asked my teacher to make me this program.
2007 SP program, Sing, Sing, Sing. Abe Nanami choreographed this.

Sing, sing is so fun.

Next is RJ1

Who saw this program and became a fan? (lots of yelling)
Who became a fan at Pyonchang? ( cheering)
Who became a fan at Sochi? oh, a lot.
Who was a fan since Novice? oh, wow.

(he's trying to catch his breath so he's spinning this out).

I don't know if I can do it better than Nice, but I put my feelings into it.

Wow. I don't know if it's 'as good' but it's amazing. :eeking:

Last one is Seimei. Choreographed by Shae Lynn, Nomura Mansai had a lot of influence.
This is the last one.
Next time we meet I'll be jumping. This is the last, Seimei with Steps and Spins.
I bet my life on this...SEIMEI.

These are so good. I want to get a copy right away and keep them forever.

How is he still alive?

I don't know.

Time to Say Goodbye Finale.
Yuzu still bringing the dramaaaah.
Shae is angelic looking.

Hugs all around.

Everyone, thank you so much.
Where's the camera...um I don't know.
Live viewing people, thank you for watching.
All your cheers reaching me. Even if you could't come here, thank you for watching the live broadcast.
There's so much I want to say, I can't collect them.
Thank you TV Asahi.
I think this is a different show than usual, ....
And commentating Nobu-kun, I learnt so much from you, so thank you too. Can you hear?
N: I can hear! I want to skate too.
I wonder how much time is left? Getting all the skaters I like together, watching them, it's all possible because of you, and those watching who couldn't come. Thank you.
Continues is done for now, but maybe next year and the year after, it will happen again.

Since I'm competing still, I won't be able to produce like this, but after that I want to do even more than this.

Still 4 minutes. I want to say a lot of things.
I asked Plushenko and talked Johnny about this.

That no matter what I say or even if I just skate, there are objections, and negativity, but that's not just me.
That you all came here and cheer for me and help me...Missed some stuff here, a bit disjointed..I feel that I am happy to be alive.
THANK YOU SO MUCH. Please come and watch again some day. Thank you so much! (audience also yells, THANK YOU)

---EDIT------

https://twitter.com/michaeljardins/status/985445300478373888?s=21 This is the full translation. Please do read, since it's done very well, and has all the details accurate.

Man, this really left a mark on him; there must have been a lot of it to make him this bothered by it.

Well is not easy, as humans we want to be liked, and the stupidity that sometimes can be found on FS fandom and media is too much.

There was quite a lot for a short period, and it was pretty wild stuff. If I heard that kind of thing about me, I'd be really traumatized. In this day and age, with social media, it's so easy to amplify negativity, so I won't go into the details, plus it's not allowed in the fan fest rules, but it is only a very loud minority. It's the kind of thing someone who likes to keep up to date on all the news, and what fans are saying (like Yuzu says he does often) would come across and be disturbed by. I wish I could tell him not to read it.

In the end, I believe Yuzu will see the people who came out to see this show, and the people who went to see the exhibit and the people who will go to the parade, and I hope it will balance things in his mind, so he can ignore the trolls. :ghug:

I was yelling like crazy when he shown up in R&J1.0 costume, and when he show the clip of sing sing sing, i yell even louder, this is my favourite from his Junior time. (Thank you skating god, thank you Yuzu )

Thank you very very much for Interspectator‘s translation, I understand Japanese, but not 100%, so I really appreciate when I saw your translation here, so I could pick up what I didn’t understand. Please accept my 90 degree bow.

The last speech is very touching and emotional:sad21:, I could clearly feel his thankful feeling to us as his supporters, from the way he produced the show, the programs he pick to skate... He doesn’t only share with us his happy moments, he also share the sad moments and lows with us. Even just a little bit, I know our support and love have reached him, I am glad. I am thankful :o:
