Yuzuru Hanyu: 2017-2018

I was yelling like crazy when he shown up in R&J1.0 costume, and when he show the clip of sing sing sing, i yell even louder, this is my favourite from his Junior time. (Thank you skating god, thank you Yuzu )

Thank you very very much for Interspectator‘s translation, I understand Japanese, but not 100%, so I really appreciate when I saw your translation here, so I could pick up what I didn’t understand. Please accept my 90 degree bow.

The last speech is very touching and emotional:sad21:, I could clearly feel his thankful feeling to us as his supporters, from the way he produced the show, the programs he pick to skate... He doesn’t only share with us his happy moments, he also share the sad moments and lows with us. Even just a little bit, I know our support and love have reached him, I am glad. I am thankful :o:

I also missed a LOT when trying to translate. Yuzu talks rather fast. There will be detailed translations soon, by our more talented fans. --I believe.

That was a fun show :luv17: I actually quite liked the format!

Yuzu also basically skated to all the programs that I was hoping he would for the last show (including Sing Sing Sing), he really was giving it so much energy, I loved it so much. So many golden moments, like Javi messing up his spin and Yuzu joking about how early it is in Spain, Yuzu coming out with that towel around his neck to dance with Yuko and Alexander (because of course he had to), Mura being the 3A test subject, Minoru Sano and his blinging costume, Yuzu "taking of his mask" during the finale, and everyone playing those toy trumpets during Shae's routine.

Also, I'm not sure if it's because he was wearing the R&J1 costume but Yuzu's face looked so young today. I think when the camera zoomed in at the end of R&J or Seimei I could've mistaken him for 17 again. I'm really happy Yuzu was able to skate at his own show, even without the jumps. I hope all the rehab is going well and he gets to just bask in the celebration and love and just enjoy it all - he deserves it.

I also liked the format a lot. It's more variety, demonstrations, talk, there's something for every one.

Hi guys, I'm back!! Are you alive?

Can I ask you at first, was Yuzuru's speech at the end no cut in the broadcast?

FYI for those that streamed via Fuji Live site you’re able to download the FLV video after broadcast ended.

Hi Yuzufans!! What a beautiful show!
I think it could only be done in Japan, were there's a real interest not just in skating itself but also in the skaters... It's been real fun to see Yuzu on his old costumes and doing all my fav programs again. I can't wait to see him compete at his peak again!! Honestly 4A scares me very much but if someone can do it just out of willpower that someone is Yuzuru Hanyu! (But be healthy!!)
I've got a stupid question!! How is "Continues ~with wings" abbreviated as CiONTU? Or does it come from something else? It's breaking my head!:laugh:

I went to the live viewing near my house, the theater is located in relatively the country side but the tickets were sold out. There are 10 screens and it was amusing to see the list of the films.

Detective Conan 2018
Crayon Shin-chan 2018
Pacific Rim Uprising
Jumanji: Welcome to the jungle
Doraemon 2018
COCO
Continues ~with Wings~
The Boss Baby
Chihayafuru Musubi
Darkest hour
The bastard and the beautiful world
The greatest showman
The commuter
Shonen

The place was SO CROWDED with mostly the kids who came to see the anime, and there wasn't single poster or flyer of CiONTU probably because the tickets were all pre-ordered. So we must have been the mysterious group who gathered at the screen 8  I had never imagined I could see Yuzuru on the big screen again, but it was definitely a treat. It was lucky my seat was at the endmost in the last row because I didn't have to hide that I was crying in the first 30 minutes or so (including Yuzuru and Plu-san talk) and from the finale to the end  I am so thankful to Yuzuru for mentioning the fans in the cinemas during the show again and again, we cheered for the skaters and sang "Happy Birthday" for Javier of course .

The whole show was just amazing and emotional as you know, I really hope it is going to be annual  (I think it will) During the interval, we were able to watch Yuzuru's medley on day 1 and 2 so we couldn't go to the rest room, some fans were about to go but came back to their seats :laugh2: In Yuzuru's last speech, we were shocked by his words again (there were some gasps in us including me). I just really want him to know we love him so much but he sounded he knew it well. I'm worried about Minoru because he was not feeling well these days but still skated for Yuzuru and us. Thank you, Sano-san, please rest well. (did you see the banner of "Minoru"? I liked it lol)

I loved MI2 in Etude costume :love::love: Now I'm going to dinner and eat well since I skipped the lunch :o:

Thank you so much for your 'Live viewing' report. This was such an amazing show for all of us. Have a nourishing dinner, and be careful on your way home!

It was mainly that Yuzu wanted the Ci to look like a winking face. --and that mixed up the spelling. It's better not to think too deeply about it.
