Feels like Christmas, Easter and Birthday on the same day!!!
I'm a fan of our meitantei for 20 years now. To see Conan-kun and Yuzu-sama in the same list makes me cry and celebrate at the same time. Thanks for sharing!!
Don't know how to feel about Javi. Great that he skated so early in the morning. That's some sacrifice, esp on your birthday, but... I don't know why. The short conversation between them felt somehow stiff and enforced like none of the two really knew what to say, no?

Don't know how to feel about Javi. Great that he skated so early in the morning. That's some sacrifice, esp on your birthday, but... I don't know why. The short conversation between them felt somehow stiff and enforced like none of the two really knew what to say, no?
It seemed to me, that there was a significant audio lag, that didn't let their conversation sync. But it could also be that Javi and Yuzu haven't seen each other since the Olympics. That might make things a little tentative. JMO

Yep, the ChSq is far better performed now (the original WC performance was wonderful in how committed he was to it, a true wow moment, but much less refinement)... But he can no longer bring the raw, rough-around-the-edges quality that made the Kissing You part great anymore, I think. He's a different performer. It's great to compare and see the growth. That routine would no longer be constructed as it was.
OTOH, quite a few of the other ones he performed have only improved because of his refinement now!

Both RJ1 and Seimei were the absolute highlights for me.

Was Mura the clown of the show/comic relief? Why are people saying on social media that Mura should be given an award for all the 'bullying' he endured. Esp in regards to 3A jump

He did the demonstrations for the Technical Talk that Yuzu and Minoru Sano did. Which meant they requested he do increasingly difficult moves, --and then critiqued them!

It simply quotes Yuzu's speech in the finale, which has been translated. A blurb on top re-caps the show. The title is click-baity, but the contents are not new.

R&J1, but I agree with chopinskate that the rawness is not there anymore, when you are not 17, you are not.

The rawness of his 17 year old self maybe gone now. But it replaced by elegant maturity. He is until then and now as the british uncle said brilliant and stunning.

Now I see why people use to complain about posture, but he surely make it up for it in emotion. I’m not best watching edges, but they certain look smoother in 2018 version and he is faster...

Don’t think so, remember that they normally use English and Yuzuru gets mind fluxes when ever he has to talk in English in public outside his close circle (other skater, his coaches). I feel it was an enormously sweet interaction. edit. If he decide to do the show again I want Oda to be his next test subject [emoji48]
