Yuzuru Hanyu: 2019-2021

Proud of his chopin version in 4CC and anticipating the return of Seimei.
Maybe Yuzu is in the process now of thinking, what program he will do next. If I understood correctly what he meant about his tribute programs.
Its a good thought but if he wants to show his self he needs to make one dedicated for him.
We will always be anticipating your masterpieces Yuzu.

Yuzuru did 4T-Eu-3S with jacket on in the first one minute of the practice  I agree his jumps were very good and think he only wanted to make sure of 4Lz. Practice was around 9:30 am and he will skate at 3:00 pm, good plan for saving energy for the actual performance. And I am relieved he didn't try 4Lz many times in this early in the morning.

Photo from this practice, beautiful.

Another cross-post from Kazuki Tomono's FF, hope you guys don't mind :)
I just found this super cute and accurate: https://twitter.com/GifsYuzuru/status/1225796778232029185

Looking forward to Yuzuru's skate tomorrow, hope to see him become 4CC champion!

I watched this scene on TV, they were talking about the difference of their age. (sorry, I can't post the video)

Kazuki: We are from different generations.

Yuzuru: Right. You and I...

Kazuki: We have 4 years difference.

Yuzuru: How old is Yuma?

Kazuki: He is 16.

Yuzuru: He is rather younger than me.

Kazuki: He is 10 years or 9 years younger?

Yuma: 9 years.

Kazuki: When Yuma was born, you were in Novice...

Yuzuru: I had already won in Novice.

Three: (laughing)

:)

His longevity in seniors at the top is quite extraordinary isn't it? He went from competing with people for the podium that were 10+ his age to now kids ten years younger than him.

Good Lord that photo is breathtaking....

Congratulations to us all!:hap10: Yuzu has the Grand Slam!

The Super Slam actually since that includes juniors :). Omedetou, Yuzu! I was concerned about cutting down Seimei's run time but it actually wasn't bad I thought. While not his best, there were some good highlights of the performance and the well-executed jumps looked crisp as well as the movements. I wish him the best in continuing to prepare for worlds.

Slam with extra, since he also has achieved world records at every major competitions (barring Euros as not eligible), hasn't he?

YES AT LAST! He has his 4CC Title, he looked so happy and I know he always clutches his medals but it looked special this time around, like us, he is surely over the moon by finally having every gold medal out there.
Too bad the 4Ts gave him trouble this time around. But I am glad he rotated and sort of landed the 4lz after it gave him so much trouble in practice. I hope he can get some time to celebrate this, recover from competition and get back on track for Worlds. I would love to say that he doesn't need anything else and he should just skate for the sake of skating and love for the sport. But we know Yuzu is in for win each time so he will definitely need to keep polishing those jumps (I wonder what happened to the 4lo?).

CONGRATS YUZU!

For having to rechoreograph to chop off 30 seconds and even sped up the tempo of the music, and only 2 weeks to practice the new music cut and layout, that wasn't too bad. And congrats on being the first man to get the super slam and also set a WR at every major competition Yuzu.

Yeah, the whole thing looked more rushed than the 4.5 min ver. The 3A to 3F to spin. Then cut Ina bauer to last spin.

One thing though, I do hope Yuzuru puts one combo in the 1st half. This whole season he had problems doing 3 combos in 2nd half, causing him to lose pts.

Congratulations to Yuzuru! He won the JGPF at 14 and completes the junior/senior slam at 25, the amount of perseverance and longevity of excellence that takes is unbelievable.

Per people who heard the leaked practice, he is doing H&L for gala! I honestly am envy of those that can attend, Chopin, Seimei, H&L - three legendary programs in one competition, wow!
