Anna scored high on a lot of things but that judge giving only +1 on that magnificent quad flip is out to lunch.

These were amazing European championships for me. My favourites got two gold and two silver. Nothing can bother me now

Hendrickx and Trusova with 2 falls both got more than allowed PCS from a couple judges.

One gave Trusova 9.25/9.00 for PE/IN when the max allowed is 8.75

Judge 6 for Hendrickx doesn’t know or care for the rules either.

I would say that it works with the skaters that it works with the others, it doesn't work but we don't know who they are because it doesn't work

As long as it works to the level it provides a podium sweep I think I can call it succesful strategy

As long as it works to the level it provides a podium sweep I think I can call it succesful strategy

it is when there is a lot of talent to choose from. but what if there was one athlete who could become even better granted a more "emotional" coach... we will never know... not saying it's out there either... I just know from my own experience as a mentor that every athlete is different and I try to adapt to them so they grow as much as they can... so for some, I am cold faced... for others I am warm and fuzzy.. etc... different mentality of course. different set up... different goals.

What a fantastic competition that was! Kamila showed she is human, Anna stopped all the talk of not worthy of Olympics, and Sasha being a crazywoman as always! Just wonderful!

No, we do. They re-established status-quo, that Mozalev might be slightly ahead of Semenenko and might have a better potential, but at the moment Semenenko has better BoW. Nothing changed, so no compelling reason to make the changes. Honestly, I am not sure why they are waiting for another week, but whatever.

I remember Nastya Tarakanova at the JGPF 2017 where she wore her SP costume for the medal ceremony for some reason instead of the free skate dress.

Yeah, I remember that one. The purpouse was for all of the 3 to be with blue dresses.

I prefer the word delicate which doesn't mean weak. One can be delicate and strong and Anna is both. It's part of her appeal.

J8 though is a badass - even giving Kamila components in the 8.75 and even a 8.5 for IN.

Looks like the 3S was considered invalid.

But like how could it be considered invalid?

She physically did it.

This is like Hanyu’s 3S at the 2014 Olympics in 2014 which rightfully wasn’t called as a 3-jump series but the guy still did the jump.
