I thought Max carried the program well this time, his speed is great and he was cleanish (mind, I missed both Adam and Liam)

I liked Stephen music too

I do a double take every time I see menshov; like which russian?

I like Stephen's program a lot - it is a full program - not just a random sequence of jumps, steps, and rotations. Too bad he fell.

I admire Max's jumps, which are joy to watch, while I want see little more between those jumps.

ahh yeah... that about describes it. I do see a lot of choppy moves and arm flailing though.

What an, um, "interesting" mix of music selections.

There's been a couple times during SCI I've yelled, "Whoa, that was a mess." Inc. that camel spin.

That said, when he first came on the scene I found Stephen kind of endearingly SarahHughes-ish coltish. So I wouldn't have minded a medal for him here.

Another solid skate by Stephen Carriere, but I really didn't understand the combination of the two pieces of music...??

great to see Stephen do well; but the music combo wasn't easy on my ears either. I love Claire de Lune (sp?)...in general, I'm having a hard time with the use of vocals this season. I know it's a competition, but it feels like exhibition music and I find it distracting.
