I blame the Olympics for getting me to root for Ashley. I not fan so much but now I find myself saying yes and clapping in my living room for her. I didn't care if she won or not..I just wanted her to skate clean.


I am a Karen Chen fan...so much talent there.

She had one fall, and I don't like that program, but she actually really impressed me there. She held it together really well.

I totally agree. She put up a good fight, and she will most definitely continue to.

I enjoyed Gracie's performance actually, that is a huge test for Gracie, and she did really good!

Very impressed with how well Gracie held it together there. Didn't let the fall ruin her concentration, and she fought through that.

Now I want her to have programs with power and energy next season. This box Frank Carroll is trying to fit her into...it's not the right look for her.

Yup I am sorry she looks so sad. It really was a good effort and she is young. She has lots of time to win titles.

I agree. This was similar to last year technically, but just did not have the same energy.

But yes she has time and Gracie should get credit for putting a fire under Ashley.

Guys, you are mischievous. I love them both. Gracie is more focused on details than Ashley, very fast, great technique. Her hand movements and upper body movements are very complex and consider that she's younger than Ashley. Don't exaggerate, she's a wonderful skater. What a pity that she fell down.

Phantom after Ashley's that performance sounds kind of cheap.

I feel like Ashley really nailed it with her music choice this year, though. It's hard to come up with that magic year after year.

I agree. Other than the fall, it was technically very good, but it didn't connect, not like Ashley's did.
