2015 Worlds Short Dance March 25

69 is a little high to me. They must have gotten their levels, but I thought it was a little nervy, and could have been cleaner in areas. And I'll never understand that weird section where he stands behind and it looks like they forgot their choreography and are improvising to cover it up. I will admit her star quality shines through and that wink in the lift... so good.

It definitely adds pressure on that final flight if they want to stay there.
 
Of course they were cautious 1) jetlag 2)first group, no room for technical mistakes 3) i would rather see them get TES than give it all and miss levels etc. I was suuper nervous but i loved it, not as much as euros but still great
 
The score does seem a bit high for I/Z's performance. No fire, no fineness tonight. Well, that's being Russian for you.

IMO, I think that's just an impression with the first groups. The more you go on the more the adrenaline goes high.
They had plenty of energy. I don't get the lack of finesse you are talking about, what do you mean?
The only thing, which I have to check again, is if I really saw a small stumble from Ruslan or not. The rest was great!

If Chock and Bates are permitted to score what they have been scoring all season. Ruslena can be over scored. And I am very ok with that!
 
I missed the entire first group trying to get either Hola or ZenMate to work :drama: Thanks to those that posted alternate links, but thankfully I finally got ZenMate to work on the Hong Kong setting :dance:
 
I guess for me I just didn't feel like I was watching a team that was very secure on their blade. They definitely were pushing out there. They had lots of speed and energy, but I agree finesse was missing. Both are wonderful, natural skaters with a great touch on the ice, but tonight it looked forced.
 
With I/Z's score, I wouldn't be shocked to see some huge numbers in the final group. I agree that it will be very interesting to see where the Shibs and C/L end up compared to Elena and Ruslan.

Was anyone else distracted by the back of the dress? I thought the almost-nude horizontal step was bad. In a way, it would have been better if they'd just made it black.

C/L short dance is kind of mehh.. But I love Shibs SD though..
