Satoko reminds me of Vanessa Lam in so many ways....

Watching Satako is like watching paint dry... so boring. At least the other two Japanese skaters bring more flair and speed.

Hmm, I actually really enjoy her skating. She is a pretty skater, her program is nice, there are highlights choreographed to the music that she actually hits, there's some expressiveness there... I just wish her jumps were a little bigger, that she skated a little bigger, etc.

Ladies take note. If you're going to use vocals *ahem gracie* use good ones, like Lea Salonga. A+ in music choice for Satoko.

I love Lea Salonga, but the vocals in this program are kinda jarring for me.

Very solid skate by Satoko! She is really quite strong on the PCS side of things, but I just cannot appreciate jumps like that.

I also find the introduction of lyrics partway through the program to be quite jarring.
