Gracie and Ashley both get small medals for the FS, not the medals they wanted but I'm proud of them for pulling themselves up and not getting discouraged

And the US ladies keep three spots, which seemed unlikely after the short so that's good too.

This really was a very meh ladies competition, though. Aside from Liza's triple axel, anwyay.

Well, you gotta skate 2 programs for a reason! Amazing redemption for them both. And another 4-5 finish for them.

That IS exciting, but can you explain? This is the first I've heard of medals given for individual portions of a competition!

In ISU Championships individual portions get small medals too so they do it in Euros and 4CCs too
