2015 Worlds Men Free Skate March 28

Also be happy with Han getting a medal.

Does Spain and KAZ have 2 other skaters that can meet the minimum mark?

Hanyu looks nervous. I'm not ready. :slink:

He said he wasn't competition ready in terms of nerves yet. ..neither am i....

I just want him to do his best in his current condition. Japan already lost its 3 spots anyways.:hopelessness:

Sorry, I didn't hear the announcer.

Per IN, Misha pronounces it as "Gee" -- with a soft "g." So "jee." (But not "geh.")

This pronunciation discussion also has come up in other threads.
My opinion is that it is all too easy to criticize announcers, when in fact pronunciations often are tricky and/or non-intuitive.

 Exactly

I like Jasons new pants. They do a good job with... erm... you know

Good luck to everyone in the final group! Skate well!! :cheer::cheer:

And I reeeeeaaaally love Nam and Misha in the 2nd KnC

That good. I wish I could speak as fluent as him one day and Russian as well. I tried to learn Russian a few years ago but I stopped at the difference between идти and ходить. The noun declension killed me especially numbers. The good thing is I can read Cyrillic now. Chinese is a lot easier actually.

A Taiwanese skating fan told me that she was surprised at how fluent Misha is in English and Mandarin. I read up a bit on his profile and he's probably the most international skater, growing up in different countries. He had the advantage of being immersed in the languages but apparently he has a knack for learning language.

Not to offend Spain and Kazakhstan but that will be waste of those spots since their pool lacks high quality skaters.

But spots allows their skaters to experience international competitions and gain experience which all contributes to creating higher quality skaters
