You should write them to say that, whilst the summer might not seem like the perfect time for a winter-themed show.... it could seem quite appropriate in Australia.

What's going on?
Yana gave an interview about the men's competition. I wouldn't disagree that Plushy could have done very well here, but I am not in 100% agreement with all of her opinions, let's say.

Wife twice Olympic champion Evgeni Plushenko Jan Rudkovskaja commented on results men's tournament at the World Championships in Shanghai.
"World Cup has demonstrated that male horse left to stand still. Therefore, if Jack skated in Shanghai with his Vancouver set, despite the fact that since then he has significantly increased the second estimate, and Hanyu and Fernandez made to exactly the way they were, Jack would have been first.
Painting in men's figure skating, in my opinion, bleak and somewhere even absurd. Hanyu breaks jumps and gets a sky-high scores. None skater jumps three quads. Fernandez also wrong.
- But Jack can not and will not jump three quads. Whereby he would have won?

Many times I've seen the very presence of Eugene demoralize opponents. I even sometimes afraid to fall in his way when he is on the ice, even if it is a common practice. Some points I agree with her, sometimes I wonder if she is being deliberately provocative...wish we could get Plushenko's input, but maybe that will come later.

OMG I saw that article too and was rather worried what the haters would say! And if there'd be a News! Thread on the main forum and a big bruhaha.
It's sweet she's so supportive of Plushy, but if he decides not to compete again it'll just look silly.
I suppose if a journalist is going to ask the question... I don't think anyone could honestly say any of the Russian men did amazingly.

(Yeah what do I know - I didn't even find an email address to silly Swedish Eurosport when they were showing figure skating - but the audio was from a football match! I know everyone else is so much cleverer and more resourceful than me, though - I'm terribly impractical even under non-computer-circumstances.

I was angry with Yana. I had no time to bring the article, and tell my opinion. :shocked: She is not expert, I don't understand the journalist. Why asked her???????????? She is talented in many things but I would like to read Plu's opinion, not Yana's!! I believe she loves Plushy so much, but that is NOT reason that she acts she understands the FS!!! She said many stupid things and she became ridiculous and Plushy too!!! And she was proud of this intervew! She recommend it on her Twitter!!! She thinks said many smart things! BUt, no!!!!! I'm angry, even now! Poor Plush, sometimes I believe in those opinion, Plush's weakness are the women!! According to some Russian fans opinion Yana wants to Plushy compete in 2018!! Well, maybe I believe in them...Stupid interview!!!!!

Well, I suppose Plushy can't really say anything too critical if for no other reason then it'd look like poor sportsmanship - dissing current Russian skaters when he's not competing himself.
Maybe Yana never reads the comments to such interviews - I didn't either, but you know they're gonna be bad. But yeah, what can you do.
It's pretty amazing! I was like "How's he gonna do the jumps and the spins?" and there he was reeling them off! He must have practiced a lot to be able to do it, I tried to spin in the air once, got about a third of the way around and barely off the ground. My glittering career as a ballerina gone!

Ok, I understand now. And yes...I was a little shocked at some of her comments. Especially when she said that she argues over scores with Lakernik and stands on equal ground with him(!) - can you imagine?
But I think the people who hate Plushy & Yana already will hate them no matter what, so the article will change nothing...and Plushy's fans will not blame him for the things she says. At least I hope not. Maybe he thinks some of the same things, but I don't remember him ever being shy about giving his honest opinion. 
I do believe Plushy genuinely respects Javi and Yuzuru, and would never expect them to shake in their boots when he enters the rink...:disapp:

Yes. Totally agree!!!!! This is why I'm angry even today!!! Ridiculous and it shows Plushy like a stupid man. She is very stubborn who is very succesful, she is working hard in the showbusiness, a workaholic woman. But leave alone the FS!!!!!!!!!!!!!( and Plushy )
I hope Plushy will rest on golf tournament in Turkey. He travelled last night to Turkey. After the Odri fashon show, he needs to rest. He wasn't too happy on the show, what is Yana's show....

Well, it's not like Plushy can tell "the Little Woman" to sit in a corner and keep quiet. People who blame Plushy for what Yana says, probably don't have a clue how marriages work. Yana should consider what effect what she says has on Plushy - but at the most he could tell her that he doesn't agree with her, it's not like he can shut her up!

Haha, I've only just read about that interview from Yana and I think it's absolutely hilarious! This is love! She thinks he's still the best and she has the need to tell everyone. And good that he's not telling her to keep her mouth shut, I would like him less if he ever did.

I don't think Yana is perfect, but she's perfect for him - larger than life & always entertaining.
