OKOK ! in 2019 at skate Canada, his quads were not perfait either but he won 3rd medal thanks to colerograpphie, but now new comers pop up, may be i am afraid that he might no longer be Top 3 of RU skaters soon!

Ilya is very slight. And he is young, and most young men start filling out a bit at his age. So I'm not sure Ilya will hold onto the 4A either-looking at him, he hasn't undergone that transformation from boy into man yet, (Usually around 21 it seems like) and I think he will have some adjustments as well. (As did Nathan Chen-in his book he talks about his weight issues and male body changes)

I don't deny that the newcomers aren't strong. They definitely are.
But I disagree with the fact that he suddenly loses quads after the season he added a new very consistent one.
Speaking about it, did fed said it will strictly the winner of Rusnat that will go?
In Men's case it should be Rusnats+GPF imo. Though, Dikizhi is deserving. He doesn't usually bomb and can score high (at least domestically. The PCS given by intl panel can be rough).

Last year it was amazing! I'm so interested to see what kind of exhibition Sadkova prepared. We never see her in exhibitions. Shes a total competitor. Its going to be awesome.I hope most of you come to the exhibition gala though.

The Fed said that desicion is to be done.
I'm personally sure it will be the final just like four years ago.
By the way, I'm afraid none of the medalists is eligible if ISU is really strict.

Bah i see he is diffiucultly making it happen , yes personality, skate it beautifully are also as equally as important as jumps, hope he can continue to keep his place on the top.

This podium looks kinda my dream one 3-4 years ago haha (but probably in different order).
On the flip of the coin, Zhenya did indeed get to the podium in the end ! 
Which I personally will also interpret as a clear sign that there is still hope form Roma and Dima at the GPF, who need it most
Huge result for Gleb who can be proud of himself after fighting for quite some time! Hope he gets to celebrate big time tonight
And congrats of course to Vlad as the new champion. I agree it's not 100% decisive but it's a huge step forward for that famous one spot. He can certainly give Illia a run for his money jump wise and has way much more musicality/artistic talent (though I admit this comes mainly from videos I've seen of him off the ice, it doesn't totally translates to his skating yet and he'll need better programs and music for that, but at least the raw talent is there). So he can provide indeed some sort of viable competition at the Olympics if he gets there (though in any case Illia will still win in the end because of the political push but we're digressing here ...
)

Vladislav DIKIDZHI requires more choreographie and also he must work extremely hard to be able to deliver very high quality jumps all times. Then i am sure other guys can not compete them neither JP nor French guys.
Yeah I agree I think that's what affected him in the GP final with all those landings that were short (and they were the judges got it right it was quite egregious). He looks bulkier than in the past only a little but it's enough, especially attempting content no-one has ever attempted in history.
Will be there and looking forward to it.
I've decided not to even think about what the ISU is going to do and just hope that the four gold medalists have their chance. I refuse to consider otherwise. They should all enjoy this victory without stressing about things beyond their control and that's what I'm going to do as well until we know otherwise.
Didn't know about this, hope he is ok. He had a very strong start of the season and then sort of went a bit off-rails
I've a soft spot for Mark ever since the Olympics because he showed great courage and will power to deliver under huge pressure. That's also why I was surprised at the score today as he normally does deliver when it matters most. He has a huge passion and energy within him that make up for other things and are able to carry the skate more or less on will power only
if necessary.I just saw the skate now (wasn't able to force myself to watch anything live after Dima
) and seems to me he still tried to fight to the end, but simply didn't have enough energy this time (and of course the 2 big falls right at the beginning did not help at all 
). So maybe there is indeed something health wise that is not ok

Rukhin said in the mixed zone that he is happy with the season. He couldn't prepare for nationals due to multiple things but he is glad that he at least made it here. He wants to improve as figure skating is all his life.

They will be, but all the guys who could get PCSs in international competition have either bombed or are complete unknown internationally, which means no PCSs. So, in a way, sending a technical skater who rotates might be a valid strategy. Dikidzhi is perfect for it.
I came across this video from Alina covering the Men's FS. Now, I may not have always been necessarily a fan of Alina as an interviewer in the past, but she surprised me here showing great humanity and empathy both for Dima and Mark, who were just coming right off from heartbreaking skates.
It was quite hard seeing Dima's dejection at himself, in an insightful but very painful awareness. And I was also touched by Mark, who, in probably a short time, came from lying virtually dead holding himself in the locker room, to pulling himself up as best as possible and still showing a dignified and fighting spirit, even though you could tell he was hurting.
All in all, it turned out to be a very emotional video, probably one of the most so that I've seen for this kind of coverages.
