Well, I'm relieved to hear I'm not totally alone in my sad inability to do it...well, I think I could sort of do it way back when...maybe my leg stretching at the gym will pay off one day.

hwell: I guess it would be helpful to be able to do it off ice though...make it more stable. Perhaps this is a question for the Lutz forum!

I hope she won't skate in SK2. Each person need to do their job in that show
But probably she will be on ice in November, they will celebrate Plushy's birthday on ice.I don't know I'm happy or not...
I was sarcastic..I'm really happy. But I know his Russian haters. They will say Plushy is a showman in Russian showbusiness. 
They said this absurdity not once. Before and after Sochi. In this thread we shared almost all news about him. Do you think he is a showman who is working in the Russian showbusiness or an athlete who is a part of a Russian showbusiness because of Yana? He doesn't do anything in it, just sometimes he goes with Yana some great events what are really important for Yana. Or he is nominated...They made a worldclass and unique ice show-what is his job- and he won the award because he got the most votes from the Russians. When I read that he is already a showman I thought: it's good for the Russians they have such a great showbusiness! The members can do quad combo, perfect 3As, they are living a healthy life: trainings almost every day, other sports, no alcohol, ( no drugs, of course) wake up early, diet and so on... His Russian haters had some other absurdities..
-For example he wants to compete because of the money..They don't know if he doesn't compete he earns much more money on the shows. I think he is one of the most expensive skaters( if he is not) for the shows. Edvin said in an interview ( he laughed) Plushy is very very expensive.. (Maybe this is the reason why he doesn't perform in North-America, they're not going to pay that much, Plushy does not go to skate cheaply. Ari is a great agent.)
-Plushy lost his fans in Russia because of Sochi scandal..He lost fans but he remained the most popular athlete in 2014.
-No one will curious of Snow King show. Cca 120000-130000 viewers have seen it . Plus the viewers in Sochi.. so cca 140 000 in total.
-their marriage is just a PR action:disapp: ( the Russian learned this word "PR". And they use it every time. Do you know that Plushy did three PR actions in the last week? First he showed his practice videos on Instagram, second he showed that picture when he and his father planted apple tree and third he won the award in yesterday... Ok, maybe this is PR actions, but who has Instagram and Twitter account makes PRs, too all the time!!!Really funny opinion!
-their marriage is all about money. For who? Plushy earns more money-I read in an interview- but Yana also has great salary...
He and Yana are really talented and succesful persons. Plushy is very good in everything what he is doing. His/her haters will kill themself.....

Well, if Plushy is a showman, so what? Is that a crime? Yagudin does a lot more TV (not just hosting things like Ice Age, but all kinds of silly fluff things not related to skating). If Plushy wanted to be in showbiz, he could easily be on TV all of the time like Yags. It's clear to me that he enjoys his private life, spending time in nature on his land, and has a rich life with many diverse hobbies. He's playing golf, spending time with his family and not going out to clubs every weekend. What else is he supposed to do? Yana is a polarizing personality so there will always be those that dislike her. I think she isn't perfect, but she's perfect for Plushy...if they are happy together, then it's nobody else's business really. Yes she works in PR, but it's a career...not everyone in her shoes would want to work at all.

Eh, I agree about the "haters gonna hate" part, and the extra-special-fun (or so it seems looking in from the outside) of being a hater is that you can criticise the object of your detestation for completely irreconcileable things, and contradictory angles and never be held repsonsible for being consistent, or making sense.
I mean, what to do? Criticise Plushy for being
a) a showman interested only in business
b) a figure skater who can't move on from competive skating because he has no life outside it?
Why, the answer is easy - why choose either, when you can do
c)both
And throw in anything else you like in there - no doubt, including the kitchen sink. Who cares if it makes any sense? Just go for it!

As is no doubt abundantly apparent by my preceding comments, I haven't really been paying attention - but I did see a little promo of it on TV, with a bit of the Swedish entry... and I thought... you know, that isn't that bad? (Yeah, I don't have the highest expectations, and... Sweden has I don't know how many qualifyers in goodness knows how many cities, and it goes on for weeks and weeks... there's only so much bad music a person can take! At least, if the person is me.

That wouldn't be crime if he were showman in showbusiness. Plushy was host in some Tv shows and he did a great job, he had a reality show-we all know it-. But not today.
And about Yana. I agree with you. Plus nobody is perfect.
