Hi there, I posted that photo and photographed through the morning practice so at some point (I'm not sure when, though, I'm running around like crazy) there will be more.

In Barcelona he did his morning practices in costume, so I believe it could be his SP costume. And I must say he looked stunning. <3

Practice notes: it wasn't perfect. The SP is most likely 4T+3T, 3A, 3Lz (in the second half). During the run-through he fell on 4T and skated through other jumping passes. Out of the run-through, did some beautiful triple Axels, some 4T+3Ts were not 100% and he did attempt six quad Sals if I count right. From those six he landed only one cleanly. One might have been underrotated (I have a sequence of photographs and it looked suspicious) and had a step out. All the others were popped into triples or doubles.

I hope he is okay after that nosebleed. But good effort, and I love that he smiled during competition this time!!

He's being interviewed right now. He said, "I love what I do, and I want the audience to feel the same thing." He also said that this is the time to experiment, and that the Finnish audience has been very supportive.

i'm not sure, that this 100 mark's program. I think that he must transfer 3A on second part of program, or insert 4S instead 3Lz.

I have noticed that Patrick and Zueva were quite open to each other in the Kiss n Cry. Patrick talked and explained something and she nodded. It's good that he is in good relationship with his new coach.

YES!!!!! I am already in love with this costume!!! :luv17: I am happy that it looks so good on him. I saw it and instantly said, "Now THERE'S a costume I can really get behind." Marina's students are usually always well-dressed and I wonder how much input she had.

Lovely program other than the jumps, but I wish the video quality was a bit better to see it in its full glory. Favorite parts were the twizzle to camel-change-camel (tasteful variations and good speed and centering), the step sequence, and the last combo spin. The program has brilliant potential, which I never felt about MTK last season (Nationals notwithstanding).

This post is long already, but I want to end with this quote by Marina Zoueva (from the Ice Network article):

"I just enjoy watching him skate daily -- it's beautiful," said Zoueva, who has made her mark in the sport mainly as an ice dance coach and choreographer. "It's amazing how he puts his soul into skating at every practice, every moment."

I love how she said that Patrick puts his soul into every moment of his skating. That's heartwarming to know as a fan. Marina seems to love his skating as much as, if not more than, we do!!!

I really like the new Patrick Chan. Maybe not new for everyone but I felt that last year his skating was tired and uninspired. This new coaching situation seems to have given him some new life. I just love how he glides on the ice and how his footwork embodies every beat of the music.
