So she jumps without falling and you say she isn't a great jumper? Then what about those who do fall? Are they all horrible jumpers then?

I am one of Eman's biggest fans.....HOWEVER, He owes Tuk a refund unless he get's to work on an overhaul of her Free Program. She could always jump but, there is literally nothing but shallow strokes and weird arm movements between the Jumps and there is no way that program will make the podium at Worlds.

Something tells me it's not Eman who's responsible for the pedestrian artistry, shallow edges, and basic choreography - I'm sure it looked a bit more complex until it got stripped down... :sarcasm:

She doesn't always UR her axel.
Her second 2A was obviously UR, she knew that the second she landed it

Why would she have scored 10 points lower at Skate America? This was not an all Canadian judging panel.There would be no home country mark inflation.

Satoko's program was lovely! Too bad about the deductions. I'm so mad about the step sequence not being counted. THAT WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL STEP SEQUENCE IN THIS COMP and it did not even give her points. It's just sad. Meanwhile Evgenia's step sequence got amazing GOE of 1.50 for some reason. Not hating on her but I just think her steps and SS aren't great to be getting that high score.

Kaetlyn was amazing. I hope she stays this awesome for the rest of the season!

I will always be amazed by how consistent Evgenia is. She has nerves of steel and is a truly committed skater. You can see that she works so hard, else she wouldn't be this consistent. Her program, on the other hand, is not great nor an enjoyable one for me. The use of those SFX made it tacky. It tries so hard to be an emotional program but just falls short. And the choreo doesn't even match the music a lot of times.

I'm not surprised by her huge scores but it still ridiculous to see it knowing that other skaters (past and present) have done better jumps, spins, etc. with the same scores. She ain't a Yuna Kim or a Caro Kostner (when clean) to be getting a 1.60 on her 3F+3T.

Deserving podium finishers. Still the same ridiculous scoring.

Medvedeva is doing her 16y.o programmes from the era of Dancing with The Stars that she lives in. Ain't nothing wrong with that. Let her grow the way she wants.

She was not clean today though and appropriately got penalised.

See, I didn't want to say that but, I was thinking the same thing. His occasional head case issue's aside, Eman was a spectacular dancer and his programs were anything but empty like Tuk's are this season. Why bother to hire someone with Eman's unique dance ability if you're just going to strip it of all of it's "Emanlike" qualities. Look at Mariah Bell. She was smart enough to keep Rohene around to give her beautiful programs even though she moved to Raf.
