TAT says Medvedeva has added difficulty to her elements...

Personally she does stand out in terms of execution, interpretation and especially transitions... most of the girls just go from element to another.

What's for today's performances...I'd have Sotskova below Laurine in PCS.

I don't know about the difficulty but she improved the speed, and maybe even her jumps are a tad higher here.

She deserved the personal best, maybe i would have chosen to give her the record score at the GPF, but hey that was just a matter of time: she is so consistent, her technique is that dependable, you can really sit down and relax watching her performances.

The dress is distracting and the program keeps making me comparing Elena B. and Anton S.'s gorgeous program throughout her performing.

ETA: I like Wakaba's energy, but once you choose a piece of music for your program, the comparison with precedent programs with yours, especially a masterpiece is inevitable.

Sad to say but I wonder if Gracie going first with that performance helped clear out the jitters for most of the skaters that followed. Great event from there on out, worth watching.

She was alone out there in the rink, like all Men and Ladies are when competing. However, she wasn't reading this forum while she was performing and she has her coach with her at the K&C
