have you seen her skate live? she looks much better on tv... she has a hard time connecting with the crowd, looks down, doesn't project the musical intensity...and tonight she looked faster but she tends to be one of the slower ladies in steps and spins...

Still she should have placed higher than Ashley.

i mentioned more than one thing here... connection with music, projection with audience, speed which can be reflected in ease and flow and confidence and blade work... there's also posture. Lots of details that makes her look unpolished at times. I say this as I was surprised... I loved her riverdance at worlds and was disappointed when i saw her at ACI

But surely PCS =/= speed? Not just with Rika, a lot of times when a skater gets high PCS with mistakes people will say because she was really fast, etc.
