I think with Elena Rad. It's that she has the potential to be world champion. The packaging right now is bad. If she wants to beat Anna P and Evgenia she needs better packaging. That short program dress does her no favours and the make up is bad. It could be a game of inches for her. It would be terrible to see her lose on something that could be easily fixed.

As in, 3A too difficult to make full rotation while < gives too little points?

For the ladies the scores are so close while for men there are sometime massive score gaps.

Maybe? I think it's because the ladies' scores are all so close together that there's very little motivation to up the ante. That might change if Medvedeva's consistency and sky-high scores hold up.

Also remember that the 3A is a particularly tricky jump (even for some of the top men).

Well, it was pretty brilliant, really enjoyed it, but the judges are definitely slowly but surely driving the "older" generation out.
