Patrick Chan

Haha, and did you all notice that the sunset colors in the photo match his new costume top? Maybe that was the inspiration for it... I wonder who took the pic from so far away?

Yeah, it would have been great to have seen his face in the pic!

I love the pic as it is. Beautiful sky and a familiar beautiful man with a big heart hugging it and us. Serenity within and without him.

Even with just the colourless silhouette obscured by a big shirt, we know who it is.

for fans who wouldn't have recognized Patrick here...

1) those thighs... i could probably identify them among dozens and dozens.... I have been spending the last decade watching that ham!!!!

2) but more seriously : look at his fingers.... every finger has its emotion... that's one of what makes Patrick so beautiful when he skates... music goes through his entire body, including his fingertips... :) that's how i recognize me some chiddybaby ;)

swooning my way to the top ;)

Lol, I think his head and ears are quite recognizable, too! :p

He's really changed in the past season, hasn't he? So much more relaxed, a better perspective, and now wanting to give hugs! Haha, I can just imagine a group of fans running to him and knocking him over for a hug!

Viv. I got in Patrick's thread, read your post and saw the picture, I was in love with this photo and responded to your post immediately without checking the rest of the posts.

I just notice you already mentioned the colors of the sky and Patrick's new costume in one of your posting before my post LOL.

sure... sometimes I do write a wall of text and calculate BV options and what not... but often i just post this

:love::love::love:

hehe... what is really admirable is the longevity of VB who has posted here from day 1 and is still sharing great insight with us all :)

:ghug:
Incredible! "1036" posts is a very high number for 1 1/2 years. Thanks for your hard work and contribution to this thread. :thank: :ghug:

After I posted about GPF in various Fan Fests but before I posted anything else, I changed my avatar to the cat with its paw on the TV screen during Patrick's LP. But just now when I saw the sunset hug photo, I knew that HAD to be my avatar, so here it is. Another chapter in "Skatingfan4ever's GS Avatar Saga." :laugh2: Thank you, Patrick, for the heartfelt message to your fans and the gorgeous photo. :luv17:

The next question is, "When will 4everchan catch up to VB in this thread's posts?" Both of you, please keep up the hard work!!!

this avatar suits your serene and beautiful posts. I am sure the avatar saga will continue but I do hope this chapter will last for a few weeks. It's very beautiful !!!!

LOL, it would have been funny to see the cat on the screen, but this new avatar suits you well!

Just found out from Undolaure that the photo was taken at the Marseille hotel where he stayed.

swooning my way to the top ;)

I would share the creamy Montreal Fudge that I just got as a holiday gift with you if I could. So funny, I was wondering if it was "real" Montreal Fudge, and on the back of the package it said "Ste-Julie (Quebec)" and "Product of Canada"! :)

ste-julie is just outside montreal... actually, some skaters use this facility when training with the marcottes... i have seen pictures from there...with elladj and liam etc... :) but i wonder what you call montreal fugde... because... well... the common thing quebec eats, or at least in the time of my granny, was what we call, sucre à la crême which is pretty much a mixture of cream, brown sugar and butter... it's ermmm.. divine :) but one piece can set you back in your diet for about 3 winters.

I think that's what I got. See the photo here - I got the purple package on the very left. It's a creamy butter fudge with nuts. What a great coincidence!

Hmmm... another fan had suggested that if Patrick came out with a line of Chiddy's Chocolates, it would sell like gangbusters!

Chiddy's anything would sell... Chiddy's candies ;) Chiddy's fried chicken LOL even if he were to sell Ice Wine, it might work out... but for that, I'd suggest he uses Patrick Chan for the branding...

the fudge looks sort of updated traditional. My granny would make it plain, the blonde version... then at one point, she did include nuts in it... and finally, she started getting lazy and made peanut butter... some would add maple syrup to it too...The chocolate versions are a bit less traditional here... something you'd see a lot in Michigan.... but still, my mom would make that a lot too...

In any case, anything with Montreal in front is better... Like Montreal fudge, Montreal Steak Spice, Montreal bagels, Montreal Smoked meat and Montreal boys ;)

LOL, sounds delicious and deadly. I'll share this fudge with everyone I can!

In the meantime, if anyone wants to be amused, here's a work of fiction about the GPF "banquet", where Patrick is portrayed as an angry alcoholic artist. Tell me what you think. Somewhat true to life? No?

I would seriously buy PChiddy's fried chicken. Now thinking of making some fudge
