I have a question ? Watching the USA teams practices taking the throw flip/lutz for C/L , S-K/K ,D/F with C/L she takes her right hand off Tim and then Throws it in a fist whipping it around alone to do the throw? Is this a throw? If you watch the other teams they leave their hand son the wrists of their partner and actually push off as the man throws them and between the two make the throw. I am not sure it can be counted a throw if she is doing it herself? It seems Tim is not doing anything. That said the twist for C/L in the short practice she is bending her right knee and tucking it under to do the twist and I am not sure that is a twist either without the split at all but never noticed this before. Anyone who knows can they comment? Thanks

maybe this will appease you until they skate : i was pleasantly surprised at Nationals at Marinarora saucy lifts... they were much better than i thought.... i never felt scared... but we did see another twist crash.... (by another team).... and that was not good... NOT GOOD

When twists go bad it's an awful thing.
Actually worried about S-K/S tonight. I saw their practice footage. It did not look good. She seemed to have a short hair cut though.

twist and lifts-related accidents are the most scary ones for me, I can't even imagine how horrible would look a twist accident when male partner looses his balance after throwing female in the air...
