2017 Four Continents Men SP

37 I would guess. Maybe a tad higher. Let's see indeed.

To be fair, Boyang's program does come across as a bit choppy in comparison, but at the same breath I'd have thought Jin trying to do more stuff within his routine would make up for it. Just got to wait and see.

Hello! Woke up just in time to watch Nathan and the last group! Too bad I missed Han Yan's skate. Let's hope for an awesome skate from the final group! :)

He deserves to be. He's one of the few people I've seen skate Singin' in the Rain who did it with a joyfully light touch.

I'm now beyond extra bummed about that 3A though. An 84 SP would have him seventh or eighth.

So because both Nathan and Boyang are known to be jumpers/ quad machines and indeed are not super expressive, artistic skaters, they have to be put in the same box? No, for me Nathan has for sure overall better presentation and deserve highger PCS, especially in SS than Boyang and it's not that there's big gap between them or anything it's annoying that both of them have to have smiliar PCS or if not smth is inflated. I think Nathan for sure has qualities for good PCS and they for sure will show it more in next seasons programs. I'm not saying that his quads are not helping him with getting higher score though.

Pressure pressure... it will be interesting to see how they deal with everything. 103!!!!!

If history is anything to go by (re: NHK 2015), Yuzuru will smirk and decide to go above that. Knock on wood it'll happen because I do want to see his SP clean!

In principle I don't have any issues with scoring Boyang fairly. I would probably all together give him around 39 but parallel to others is when the problem arises. And I do think Nathan's SP is good, and better than his FS, but yes. Got to wait indeed.

*annoyed sniff* You missed a whole lot more than that.

Why not? They've shoved another American man into that box and won't let him out, and it would seem they're determined to keep Boyang in that box too.

Need my morning Diet Coke to calm my nerves. Come on last group! :drama::clap:

Judges jumped on the bandwagon with Nathan's PCS I see...

Funny, really.

Especially that the judging was conservative at this event so far.

Shosho is really quite unlucky to skate after Yuzu. Because if Yuzu skates well it's obviously gonna be hard to follow but if he doesn't skate well atmosphere gonna be down and it's gonna be hard too.
Hopefully they both skate well  :ghug:

BTW can someone explain to me how come Nam is 30+ difference from Nathen? I thought he did 2 quads? It is all a bit

Was super confused for a second but then realised Eurosport is showing last years mens competition..

I'm spending Friday night in bed watching figure skating as I can't be bothered doing anything else, oh the apathy lol!
