The age didnt really matter - it was just her poor nationals result.
At russian nationals, they kinda seemed to bring to top the skaters who would be eligible for Olympics, but thats not her case.

Turkish girl and Caribbean girl have the exact same overall score. But Guzide is in and Valentina is out.

People are going nuts cause their darling stayed home.
Well, currently life is unfair to russians, because russian Nationals are probably the most stacked competition of the year for ladies, and Russian B team both senior and junior would be still extremely competitive everywhere outside russia.
