Nice...except...what on earth is going on in the photo with Sasha and Yana? It looks like they're pouring perfectly good food in the floor!

Good morning here https://www.instagram.com/p/BSLa_UoB5x5/?taken-by=evgeniplushenko.figureskater - the_swedish_disaster - I don't know how dignified it is for a grown woman to giggle in public... But I'm doing it right now. And I don't care if people stare, because that is just too gorgeous not to giggle with delight! 😍 *looks around at all the button-nosed swedes and scoffs* 😏

"We managed to gather a completely unique, amazing team of teachers, professional trainers! We have chic halls, an amazing platform, everything is equipped with the latest technology. Now we are fully prepared to start training.
The most important thing is that I'm ready to become such a director of the school. We went to this very long. In my time at the training camp I already coached children, and it seems to me that I did it quite well; Gave master classes and adult children who were preparing for performances at the Olympic Games.
He also said that now the Academy is actively recruiting children, and as those who want to do figure skating professionally, and those who want to make this amazing sport their hobby."

Wow, now that Angels of Plushenko has an instagram there's soooo much news, it's awesome! I'm not sure how I'm gonna keep up.

Anywho, I have to rush off to work now, but I thought this: https://www.instagram.com/p/BSOx_1ohmAY from Plushy and Sasha (apparently they're painting donkeys (?) for some sort of charity thing? I dunno Google Translate isn't clear). Look at Plushy's intense concentration there! Also, I appreciate that most of the donkey is green, my favourite colour!

Oh and lastly, some adorable father-son pictures: https://www.instagram.com/p/BSN_HftDluo and https://www.instagram.com/p/BSOBvGBj5ZL :luv17: D'awwww!

And I can't resist one more video of Coachshekno for the road: https://www.instagram.com/p/BSNwi1pjuus - off ice training like a boss!

Watching Plushy' interview. He need to thin) But just a little! In his face)

Oh neat! I saw the YouTube video on Plushy's official messageboard, but I don't understand Russian, what did he say? (It was about the Men at Worlds right? Google Translate told me that much!)

But Plushy behind the boards, in the kiss&cry - yes, that I want to see!

I think it will be possibly as intresting as his student`s skating)

Yes, he spoke about Worlds. He thought Chen will be first after SP)

It wasn't posted yet?

I feel a tremendous sense of relief, to be honest. I never want to see something like what happened in Sochi again. But Plushy behind the boards, in the kiss&cry - yes, that I want to see! :)

Apparently not (I just checked The Edge) nothing there, but then again World's is on.

I was just wondering yesterday if Plushy was going to officially retire (he must have heard me! :p) because with the school opening he could hardly train competitively and coach kiddies.

Plus he's doing Snow King somewhere (not Aus sadly) this December.

It's a bit weird to think of Plushy retired, but I can't wait to see what he gets up to as Coachshenko!

Just as well. I can do without the inevitable "good riddance" posts.

I love this video. Thanks to Katia for the translating!

I don't want to diminish his achievement but I could do that. :o: I was an athlete but not skater.

I sure as Heck can't, so colour me impressed!

But now I'm curious Plushyfan what sort of athlete were you?

Just as well. I can do without the inevitable "good riddance" posts.

Yeah that also crossed my mind, why are people so unkind? Did they not get the memo, Plushy is awesome!

Yes. They will write:

"He is not my favorite, but..."

"Like him or not but..."

"He is not my cup of tee but"

"I prefered Yagudin but..."

etc....;)

I was a handballist. This is a very very popular sport in Europe, and some of Asian countries, South-America, Brazilia and Argentina, and became popular in North- Africa and in Near-East. The handball is far from skating, very hard sport. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yb899Gu60ZM a handballist can jump.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BSTXfochkzh/?tagged=evgeniplushenko - Alexei Mishin: "It is necessary to not take Evgeni's decision as a sad one, as the media tries to portray it. We all must thank him for his achievements and his strenght to return to sport after a spine surgery. His decision is not sudden, it has been hanging in his head for some time. His health now is perfect. Speaking about his future, I am well aware that there are now several interesting projects for shows, and these are grandious in nature, unique, one of a kind."

The Snow KIng will be held in Estonia:

 Too true, too true. Although I was just thinking about skaters while I was ice skating this afternoon and had many of those same thoughts about skaters who aren't Plushy, so hey as long as they're not mean about it, to each their own!

Oh cool! My paternal grandfather was apparently quite the handball player, not that I ever got to see him in action. I've never watched a whole match, but from the highlights during the Olympics I can see it's hardcore! Did you get very far in the sport? (Nationals or whatever?)

Awww, the Professor has cheered me up! I did feel a bit bummed at the thought of no more Plushy at competitions kicking butt and taking names, but he's right, Plushy is onto bigger and better things.

Also...I can't help thinking whenever some commentator mentions all the quads going on in competitions these days that they should be very grateful to Plushy for bringing them back! Who knows what would have happened if he hadn't come out of retirement for Vancouver. :p
