I am just so stunned in a bad way that Bobrova/Soloviev are still leading the FD. Their program was horrible and they are not the greatest skaters of all time. Yikes.

Actually they chose this program because they didn't want to do Coldplay 2.0. I don't think this program is all that great though. They executed it well so good for them. I wouldn't mind if they did Coldplay 2.0 for the Olympic season.

I don't understand how you can decide "we're not going to do Coldplay 2.0" and somehow end up with a subpar Coldplay 2.0

I really hope Hubbell & Donohue skate great going last and take the bronze now over the perennially way overscored Shibs, or I will be particularly annoyed Weaver & Poje were robbed of the bronze, for the 2nd time by overrated Shibs to boot after 2011. Go HUBBELL & DONOHUE, even more seeing all the haters they have here, mainly people who somehow hate an exciting and interesting sexy team like them but love the freaking Shibutanizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

OMG the judges want to give the bronze to Hubbell and Donahoe. And wow the Americans and well the whole group is one hot mess of tangled feet. It looks like 3 to 9 is a dogfight. And yet such a difference in placements from 9th to third.

I remember watching Papadakis/Cizeron compete in their first JGP event in the US back in 2009 (IceNetwork actually aired it free!) and thinking they were a bit of a mess then.

They've come so far. It's terrific.

Maia and Alex need something VERY different next year. They tried to make this Coldplay 2.0 but it didn't work. It was extremely lovely but their gala program is, in my opinion, their best program this season.

My biggest pet peeve of Maia is her darn hair! She always has flyaways no matter what! Messy hair bothers the heck out of me. Hair spray and bobby pins, girl! Though if that is my biggest criticism of her, that's not too bad.:luv17:

Haven't these skaters heard of Dippity Do?? I swear the dancers I worked with ALL had a jar of that stuff and so did our director. She would literally go down the line of the girls and a couple of the guys and slick back any Whisps or Flyaways that she saw.
