He might coach Adelina. Just some rumor, so don't take it seriously.![]()
hmmm..... same agent, Ari Zakarian
I think he spoke about another OG not 2018. But who knows? He is Plushy.

He has received some coaching offers from both Russia and abroad. I think he implied in a recent interview with the "Match TV" that he would very likely go to the Korean Olympics as someone's coach, who is able to enter top 3 domestically. Now this rumor might be true.
I'm excited...maybe we will know tomorrow.. Otherwise he received offers from Japan and China after Sochi. But it seems he wasn't ready then
I became thinking of Bojan after Worlds) He's a jumper and he's funny. And respects Plushy)
And Adelina, may be. This would be her comeback- and who knows more about comebacks than Plushy?)
And I was always upset about this( From the begining of their rivalry I liked them both ( but Plushy more a bit). They both said stupid things about each other sometimes, but than it's seemed that things got better... and than again! Sochi and so on(I agree with Adelia. This is out of the question. After Sochi Plush said Alexei doesn't exist for him.And I agree with him.

The champion of OI-2014 Adelina Sotnikova has passed from the trainer Buyanova to Plushenko http://rsport.ru/figure_skating/20170404/1118595685.html
OMG! This is what I'm saying! To be a Plushenko fan is an amazing trip! You never bored! He starts his coaching career with an Olympic champion!![]()

What Evgeni said about Alexei? He respected Yag so much, he always praised him as the greatest opponent who pushed him.. Maybe he responded Alexei's attack. On the contrary Alexei criticised him not once, not to mention what happened after Sochi ! If you watch Youtube videos you can find Yagudin's interviews he said this he said that about Evgeni. But you can't find Plush's videos, because he didn't talk about Yag.
OMG indeed! I didn't see that one coming for sure! I'd have thought you'd want your coach to have more experience, but hey it is Plushy.
And here I was thinking that there wasn't going to be anything super exciting in the upcoming season...shows what I know.
Indeed, I'll be forever disappointed with Yags response to Sochi...I mean...the guy withdrew in the middle of a competition himself! Sure it wasn't the Olympics, but he did it for the same reason (to avoid a permanent injury), I'm surprised no-one called him out on it.
The only "criticism" I can think of that Plushy ever made of Yags was that interview with Terry Gannon (I think?) where Gannon asked him what he'd learned from Yags and Plushy was like "NOTHING" - which I'm sure wasn't true. However, that didn't have the potential to hurt Yags really so it was just really funny.
Plushy was 17 and they were in a big fight in competitions. I really believe Plushy was nice when he didn't name those skaters who humiliated him and beat his head with a slippers when he arrived in Mishin's group. Yagudin was in the group, too...Adelina has nothing to lose, and perhaps it will motivate her more to have a new coach (I never liked Buyanova anyway...). And even if he hasn't coached top skaters before, I think Plushy could be excellent with the psychological part. He knows what it's like to return to the sport after being away for awhile, and if she somehow qualifies to Pyeongchang, he can help her stay mentally strong despite all the controversy she will no doubt endure. I think it's still a long shot for her to make it, but nothing's impossible.

But later in Salt Lake... When he said "Good job"... I wanted to hug him and cry over(

- Sasha Plushenko will perform at the opening of the school of figure skating - it debut today - said Plushenko senior. - He will perform with the program under the "Kalinka-Malinka". Him 4 years, our goal - in ten years to go to the World Junior Championships. And we will try to win it. Objectives set and try to get them now.
So they've changed their mind about Sasha competing? He clearly loves it & is naturally talented (well, how could he not be?), so I don't see why not.![]()
It's been a funny progression:
- No child of mine will ever... !
- Well, he can skate - but ice hockey!
- So, it turns out he likes figure skating rather than hockey...
- So, we got him figure skating boots.
- We're so going to junior Worlds and going for gold!
Well, I did say he was Plushy's son, and if he did set his heart on it, I didn't see anyone being able to stand in his way (of course, I didn't necessarily see him setting his heart on it and actually becoming a figure skater - but you know, I really don't think we should get needlessly hung up on minor, trivial, inconsequential details such as that... [waves them away])
Poor Plushy (at least Egor only got up to ice hockey - not sure if he's even still doing it though...), but now I've got my fingers crossed that in eight years time there'll be a fan thread here for Sasha! the opening ceremony https://vk.com/lfstreams?w=wall-143150516_417 Sandhu, Rigini, Plushy, Sasha Plushenko and other little skaters..
don't Russian kiddies go to bed at a proper hour?
going on about Plushy coaching Adelina, but the overall response seems to be positive! Go Coachshenko, go!
