Its funny though that i tried convincing some people to be Patrick's fans, by showing them his topless pics, but we all know how goofy he poses were there, not that i mind, but they all called him "man-child" because of it.

Also I like won a local contest giveaway from our local figure skating club, and the prize is a FS Magazine from Japan. It's a bit embarrassing that they published a few bits of my answer, but at the same time I'm so glad it was only bits, because yeah, my chiddylove was shamelessly written in the essay.

This was the bit they published from my essay "Sometimes I think the reason for (Patrick Chan's) smooth movements and transitions is because of his warm personality, it melts the ice like butter, allowing him to weave each movement with such grace and emotion.":laugh:

As loveable as Chiddy is, I've got other ventures on the mind, so enjoy having hardly any competition right now for the Chantastic one. ;) :p

Congratulations on having part of your essay published! :agree:

Lol, well he's a "man-child" no more! Just look at this push up challenge between him and a coach:

They did so many pushups, I thought the video was looping over and over, but it wasn't! I think the reason for his smooth movements is also due in part to his athleticism and physicality as well.

Even with simple push ups his form is flawless, and he doesn't do shortcuts as well :luv17:

I really do hope he goes on into coaching after his competitive career, but then again knowing him and his multiple talents in a lot of things and sports, I'd just be happy to see him succeed again in different fields.

Imagine a cooking show with him, where he has a co-host who probably reminds him every show to stop eating the food until they have plated it.

hehe :)

i hope Patrick gets his academy running in Vancouver.

Regarding the cooking show ;) I wonder if Patrick likes potatoes ;) nom nom nom :)

Hi all, I just finished publishing a new post with information and photos from the past couple of weeks.

http://pcskatingfan.com/2017/06/patrick-chan-news-06202017/

I'm so excited that tickets for Canadian Nationals are on sale this week!

Can you imagine Patrick as the best man at a wedding? Here's a gorgeous photo of him doing exactly that last year! Not sure who the groom is, but I'm assuming he's a close friend of Patrick's...

Hat tip to the Japanese fan on Twitter who found this!

The groom was former US skater Matthew Blackmer (last skated Ice Dance with Alexandra Aldridge), the bride is KAZ ice dancer Karina Uzarova. ;)

I wonder if it would be considered rude if I bought a ticket, but won't exactly go.

Also I think Patrick Chan would definitely be the best, best man out there, he seems like the perfect wing man to be honest.

what do you mean by buy a ticket for nationals??? and not go? as a symbolic thing? can you explain?

not showing up is not rude... it just leaves people who go room to put their bags and jackets and spread their legs ;)

I thought it might have been Matthew Blackmer, but here's the strange thing... There are no photos or announcements on his social media accounts about his marriage. Did any fans even know that he got married?

Also, when I checked Karina's Instagram photos, this is the only photo she posted of the wedding. The rest of her photos since then are all of herself and her friends and brother... no other photos of her and Matthew as a couple.

So if they are married (or still married), it's a very secret thing... not that it's our business.

I'd prefer him to be the best man at the Olympics. :) Yes yes I can imagine that.

LOL! Yes, the best man clutching the ring of gold at the Olympics!

BTW is it just me or has the forum format changed? I can't even find the smilies anymore! Wait... I just figured it out.

:rofl::rofl:

I'm not sure it's the best use of $140 CAD, but I'm sure Skate Canada would appreciate the donation!

however, this year, the venue is tiny... so in this case, it may be best not to buy a ticket if not going, as it will be sold out ;) which would prevent a fan from attending. So, maybe using this to donate to the charities Patrick supports is another way to contribute.

Go Patrick !!!!!

I'd donate the money directly to Skate Canada or to a skater with a go-fund-me. I wouldn't want to "donate" the extra $30 in fees to ticketmaster!

Ooh, I didn't know that the venue was so small. Then I'm assuming you would advise to buy tickets as early as possible, right?

Good point! Their fees are :eeking:
