Why do the youngsters only care about taking pictures of themselves with Patrick but not Patrick skating?

VB... are you serious? Your question is so easily answered.... kids nowadays like to show off through instagram.. and to do that, they won't just take a shot of blurry Patrick skating fast... but will take a selfie with Patrick...

On top of that, it's not like Patrick is performing his programs for them...he seems to have been doing skating clinics....

anyways... I hope that Patrick comes back to training very soon with in mind, all the joy and the smiles, he has provided to these kids, as a fuel for more intensive but positive preparation for Skate Canada.

I am sure Marina will be eager to work with him as she returns from Nebelhorn...but find it interesting that he just ditched the competition for a week of skating clinics... or is there something else???? Oh yeah... Boots...

Well, it's commemorative... like, hey, a rare opportunity to see and meet Patrick personally! Like meeting a celebrity. There's plenty of videos of Patrick skating on the web...

Patrick is not doing clinics in BC. His skating clinics are usually announced in advance for registration and he is always swarmed by youngsters, usually girls so he did one just for boys. These days, he shows up in skates and surprises the teen aged skaters.

Is this the latest? I hope he is fine. I was kinda worried of any injury when I heard of his withdrawal. It’s good that he seem smiley and healthy.

very recent... all week he has been in vancouver

no 4 flips and no injury but apparently new boots ....

just better for him to go to vancouver for a lot of reasons we suspect but haven't been released.
