Not bad from Karen too. She’ll still be in the mix for sure. I think she’ll go into 3rd, but I kinda wish it was behind Angela so we could see how Angela does as one of the final three in the FS.

Surprising number of reviews on the spins, with the judges likely looking at making sure she achieved the levels.

why the heck would they review her spin levels? Karen is one of the most consistent over-levelling (is this even a word???) spinners in US....

Good for Karen. Considering the pressure she was under as the defending champ and with the fight for spots she really held it together. UR was expected but otherwise a lovely performance. That triple loop was lovely.

That performance seemed just about even with Ashley on technical merit...

I'd rather see Ashley on the team, personally, but Karen is generally superior to Ashley on TES due to GOE.
