I didn't know he likes Domo-kun that much. Hopefully NHK have found this out already and JSF will invite him to the NHK Trophy and Akiko's Room next season.

I hope the show will be up on youtube so we can all enjoy it from across the world. This is great that Vincent is getting show experience and appreciation from fans. Is his mother traveling with him? Age 17 seems a little young to be in a foreign country alone. Glad he is enjoying his time in Asia with the other top skaters.![]()

Show skating on an international level should help him mature as a performer and competitor. Am VERY keen to see how he approaches the 2018/19 season. I expect him to fully capitalize on any signs of of a 'crack in the door' should Nathan find himself burdened by Yale/Competing twin expectations.

Oh, don't say that to Nathan fans!Seriously, Vincent has great prospects. He just needs more polished programs. I actually loved his Moulin Rouge, but it didn't give him the chance to showcase his musicality and speed. But then again, when you've got all those quads and jump elements to worry about, it's hard to focus on the PCS side of the program (unless you are Yuzu or Shoma or have a stellar choreographer). Not to mention the fact that it was his first senior year, under tremendous pressure to make the Olympic Team, thus needing to rely on the TES as he didn't have the luxury of time to work on the PCS. Vincent did mention in a recent interview that one of his goals is to develop the component scores through extensive training on movement and skating skills. Now that the Olympic Year is over, TomZ should ease up on squeezing all those jumps into Vincent's routines and give him room to work on the PCS. He would benefit greatly by working with additional dance coach from outside to help him be more in tune with his body movements. Many fans agree that his current coaching team is not adequate. He needs to upgrade somehow. But you can clearly see how close he is with Tammy and he loves TomZ's jumping techniques.

The surprised look on some of their faces :shocked:
. Love Vincent and Boyang together so much. So cute.
Vincent always looks like kind of serious and maturer than his peers. He returns back to his age when playing around with Boyang. Remember he is just a kid. SO just have fun, vince!
By the way, Chinese fs fans call Vincent "小周"(pinyin:xiao zhou, means little zhou)or "方方"(pinyin: fang fang, comes from his Chinese name "周知方"). They really like him.

One little Nathan fan is lurking here!![]()
but srsly "I expect him to fully capitalize on any signs of of a 'crack in the door' should Nathan find himself burdened by Yale/Competing twin expectations."
I agree with this. Who knows what will happen next 4 years.
The V and N rivalry:dev2::luv17:
but in terms of Vincent's training team, he is relatively stable and based on Colorado Springs, plenty of resources there! tons of experts about SS, components and dance. Renowned choreographer Tom Dickson is even located there. Vincent is in good hand. with his drive and focus on FS, I would not worry too much about him also Vincent has a strong marketing team behind him too.
Oatmella: yyyskate - I think you should be added as an advisor to Vincent’s coaching team![]()
. Nathan wants to know if you’d be willing to switch teams and get on board with Raf. He would provide you with free tickets to all his shows and competitions plus a lifetime supply of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes if you would be Raf’s PR gal
! I mean, just look at this fanart of them hugging, doesn’t that tear you up? Papa Raf and his baby boy Nathan :luv17:
