This is my favourite podium photo of all time (except maybe Tiny Shoma at Japanese Nats) the kid who came in third (and is still taller than Plushy despite the first place step) is Maxim Marinin, who went into pair skating after this...because well...he was beaten by a kid three years younger! Well, I already have time to write a brief report. I was so lucky again that I could go into the rehearsals. In my country it was much more difficult than abroad, but needed a bit of organization and I have learned from Plushy " never give up" and we managed to (with my hubby)! We waited for the woman who helped me front of the back entrance and Yana and little Sasha came there in a group . How lucky I am !! I greeted them and they were very nice Sasha smiled and absolute understood he is a star. I did not know if he would skate or not because the program did not include the name of Sasha. After we went into the hall, skaters tried their programs in order, nicely one after the other. I thought I was in heaven!
After Plushy went out of the ice, I became a bit sad, but shortly after that he came back in the arena with Sasha. And I knew he will skate! Evgeni and Sasha had warmed together outside the ice, doing the same moves. Toams was injured but he skated for us. Elena Yovanovich and Nodari Maisuradze are great show skaters their programs were interesting exciting and scary!!!

Amodio had fast feet, Misha was so emotional and funny.

Yuko and Alexander is one of my favorite pairs and I wasn't disappointed! They skated to the Black eyes!

Plushy? I have no words to describe how professional he is! He has so much charisma! he is confidence and command on the ice. I loved his control and refined movements as well. He is still very impressive to watch. He skated 3 programs ( Nijinsky, Tango Amore, Sex Bomb, light version with Sasha )

Awww, that's a cute thought! I hope Vladimir sticks around, I've never actually watched any of his earlier programs, but I understand that he was pretty much ready to retire before Plushy offered to coach him.

As for Arthur Jnr, yeah he's got quite a temper, he left Mishin once before and it was only his father Arthur Snr who managed to convince Mishin they should work together again, for all the good that seemed to do...Fingers crossed!

Aww, I'm glad they managed to sychronise during the performance though! I can imagine how difficult it must be to do stuff live, I for one would be worried about crashing into Edvin while skating around...that Stradivirus is worth millions!
