First off, I sincerely doubt Adian is "lazy and spoiled". He was INJURED, not lazy.
Secondly, it worked for Alina. Eteri brought her back when Alina brought flowers and said she was leaving.

Exactly: Adian probably isn't lazy and spoiled, but he brought Eteri flowers and she still said those things about him.

I used to have some respect for Eteri as a coach but not anymore. This is vile.

Her only major flaw is that she can't coach grown up girls. She seem awesome, even teriffic with obeying teenagers and not with those "who are getting ready for motherhood", basically those hit by puberty. Otherwise medal-wise she's the best in the world. If you don't question her methods.
I don't hate Eteri. I just wish she were a bit wiser and not open up about certain details on her past students. Not flattering to her personality to be honest.

I don't hate her either, but I think she is rather narcissistic. For all her "bluntness" I've never heard her reflect on anything that she might have possibly done wrong. A little humility would go a long way. Especially when she has no problem broadcasting everyone else's weaknesses to the world. And if you aren't bringing her medals, you are essentially disposable... damaged goods that her "factory" no longer needs.

And for all we know, maybe Evgenia was "unsubscribing" on her vacation. Like when I go on vacation, I don't answer text messages, I enjoy myself. Maybe Zhenya wanted to enjoy her times in Japan and Korea and wherever she was just recently on vacation.

Yes, but Eteri sent them a screenshot that showed all the messages what she sent to Evgenia from the middle of April. She said that Evgenia didn’t respond to her. Is this a good thing? It shows Med was angry, was really angry on Eteri and that confirms what she said.

Actually it was not a screenshot, I don't know if you watched the russian video but it was something that anyone could have done on an emulator, because it's more pretty to show on TV; my point is that it could have been faked very easily, at that point nothing proves that it was real messages (it porbably was, but since it wasn't a screenshot, we can't know for certain).

Agree. I've wanted to like Eteri many times before, and she seems like an amazing coach in some regards. She wouldn't have accomplished so much if she weren't. But the way she talks about prior students and is willing to hit below the belt is just...well it cancels out the rest, unfortunately. I really don't care if Evgenia said that about Alina, because honestly if I were in her shoes, I would feel the same way and more. But IF she said that, that was most likely meant to be a private conversation with her coach, and for Eteri to mention it in public and drag Alina into this mess is just :disapp:

Eteri is a crazy person and her methods are abusive. Evgenia was able to sugar coat the treatment before and spin her coach’s behavior as acceptable because she was winning. The suffering was just what was needed to win. Eteri dragged her around the ice rink as a child when she kept falling. The hockey players were convinced that Eteri beats the girls. They laughed it off as a joke. Not saying she beats them, but what is she doing that a hockey team believes her to be capable of this? She made her own daughter practice with a 103 degree fever. She praised Yulia for her ability to go without food. But Eteri herself can’t be bothered to wake up early for practice. Evgenia was done with the abuse. It doesn’t have to be that way.

The thing is, I’m not even sure she’s that good a coach. She’s had immensely talented students. But I’m of the belief that the advances in juniors and their jumps should actually be attributed to Daniil. He works with the juniors, he is the one who discusses how they do the jumping training. I don’t think it’s coincidence that evgenia has a flutz after 11 years with Eteri but all the juniors who worked with Daniil are pushing the technical limits.

I don't think so either. Eteri was the one who said it. Adian was greatly pleased to hear that as you can imagine. And Alina was thrown out by Eteri for not working hard enough, she didn't leave her for another coach as a successful student. And Eteri took her back. Just wait what Eteri will have to say if Alina decides to leave her in a year or two from now. I hope Alina is saving her own message logs and screenshots, maybe she should even record phone calls while she is at it :noshake:

People who attentively follow Eteri's group and their social media say that Diana did not delete anything, because there were no posts about Medvedeva in her instagram in the first place. I feel like this false rumor was already discussed a hundred times during last week all over russian internet...

b) eteri claims evgenia has been making demands. oh really? but eteri just said evgenia has refused to communicate with her so how would she know about any demands if medvedeva actualy made them?

Why is everyone surprised that a grown ass woman who is so butt hurt about one of her prized pupils leaving that she has to try to do this **** on national television? We've all seen this before - remember Yulia anyone?! However, Evgenia is not Yulia - she is one of the most mentally tough competitors I have ever seen. I HOPE (and believe) this is going to BLOW UP in Eteri's face. And when it does, I will be the first person to stand up and cheer. So far, Evgenia is posting pictures about trees and such. Let's look at Alina. She came to Eteri at age 12 with what? a triple salchow, double axel, triple loop? Two years later, she's got the most technically demanding junior program we'd ever seen at that point. That isn't all Daniil's accomplishment. A lot of it is, but a lot of it is also Dudakov's, Tutberidze's, etc. They're all working together to give each student what they believe is the best.

Look, I don't agree with how Eteri's acting now, and I think it's petty and immature. But that doesn't mean that she hasn't done anything as a coach or that it's okay to diminish what she has done. She built Evgenia from the ground up and made her as good as she was, long before she had a team like Duadkov and Gleikenghauz working alongside her. She took Yulia through Sochi, and yes, what happened afterward, but she gave Yulia experiences and success she never would've had in Ekaterinburg. She took Polina to the top and it's not her fault that Polina keeps getting injured -- she seems to have something that makes her more prone to injuries? as far as I know. She took Alina in and made her a star, with the help of her team. She made Tarakanova more consistent, brought Kostornaya back after everyone thought she was done, gave Trusova better tech skills, made Akatieva possibly the best skater of her age that we've ever seen, brought success and quads to Shcherbakova even after those horrible injuries, coached Panenkova to good scores and incredible jumps, and the list goes on and on. Yes, she's flawed, and yes, she's done some very questionable stuff, but that doesn't take away from the good.
