Ted and the whole ISU JGP media team does a great job selling the actual sport.

Yes absolutely. I feel like the whole way they've gone about this (minus some tech problems like mic volume and some echoing) is really fantastic. It's competitions like this that make me love the sport and having someone like Ted who is so enthusiastic as well as respectful really makes it a joy. They've really been able to express very simply the magic of the sport.

The ISU says people posting inappropriate comments. I'd hate for young skaters to rewatch the livestream and see nasty and hurtful comments on their performances, so I'm glad it's gone.

nasty comments! on thursday when i started streaming i saw some rude comments and immediately turned the chat off. Just looking at some comments under Scherbakova or You Young's SPs you can see that some people just can't bother being polite i imagine it was a lot worse in real time

Also, my mum and her partner were just visiting and watched that last flight with me and were commenting how lovely a competition it was. They loved seeing the up and coming skaters, the freshness of their skating (and the occasional swimsuit tan line) and asked when the next competition would happen.
