This FP doesn't play to Anna's strengths as much as the short does. She hits all the elements, of course, but this one doesn't let her show off the real magic of her performing abilities.

It’s also her first time performing a FS on the JGP. Not bad but certainly a little safe today. Doesn’t want to miss out on getting that second assignment with any mistakes.

What a special skater but I agree that yesterday's performance had more magic for me. But I only say that because yesterday's was so so so outstanding, like a little pocket in time and obviously no one can do that every time. So many lovely qualities it's honestly hard to list them all. Excited for that 3Lz to become a 4Lz later in the season!

The music is a little too difficult for her IMO. I don't see connection...

I would rather say that music seemed too heavy and bold for skater she is, more on airy, soft side. It would be interesting to see her in for example Tchaikovski's waltzes as FS, she strikes me as more lyrical skater on classical side of repetoire, but there is a lot of time.

I agree very much, the gloves there are a beautiful compliment to the dress, not an ugly afterthought as often. And she is a gorgeous skater herself

Yes, Anna is an amazing skater but I would have had Yuhana ahead of her in PCS today. (and TES too... her jumps are so lovely) The SP score was deserved but I was not impressed by Anna here. But, she did her job and deserves to win. All the ladies are killing it.
