Everything about your Nijinsky thread is glorious Plushyfan, I'll comment more in depth when I'm not at work on hold with the IT Department.
I only came here to post this: https://www.instagram.com/p/BnWh56gH_5I
New program!!! I can't listen to the music yet though so I'm in suspense.
Yuka Sato wants to see more though!! :agree:

snowdropprince : So beautiful! Your body is animated with passion!
marypag7 : Who can ever surpass you I have to wonder... Your movements, your flow, the way you feel the music, the way you make us feel... Sometimes I want to cry... You lift my spirits! Thank you Zhenya for all the great moments you have given me
insomnambula : "Shtrafbat" is the music source--I don't know the composer. Lovely choice--and new where Russian is not spoken. Honestly, dear Zhenya, how it thrills us to see you working on new choreography! You have programs we cherish, which inspire us, and which you refine more beautifully every year: those are essential--as are great early songs to the experienced singer. But just as a magnificent singer wishes to hear and see new repertoire, he must also be allowed to sing new songs! Your timeless programs are the foundation of your art and our joy, but you are still young--and still our example of how an artist develops. Anyone who loves movement can never doubt it. With ballet dancers, we often talk in English about "the vocabulary of movement." You have changed the vocabulary of figure skating--and the more you skate, the more you refine it. This serves every skater, whether they know it or not. I have been watching your skating since you first began competing internationally, and have been admiring your constant refinement and reformation of various elements while performing your earlier programs since leaving competition. I know you have been thinking and now you give us a chance to see more of those thoughts in action. No skater in the world--none--can express himself as clearly as you do, because there is no extraneous movement. Elbows, knees--they are surely there, but what one sees is only what you hear and understand in the music. (That is poetry, you know--the most condensed form of expression!) You have also faced difficulties and asked questions all your life, so that when you skate, you tell us things that only you can say. Thank you for your willingness to overcome large challenges to share so much beauty. Your work has been an inspiration in dark hours--and the sun of many bright ones. I am happy for the audiences in China that will soon see your finished program--and hope that we, too, will see it. What an adventure life is!
Right I can finally reply to this (now that I've got new position at work I've been very busy!)
I was, too
Aww turn that frown upside down Plushyfan, this is a great post!![]()
thanks...
I've watched this before! The sound really is awful, but I love it! My favourite part is where Plushy enters a rink (at Trophee Lalique I think?) and young Dai is there doing up his skates and he looks up at Plushy like "OMG...it's really him!!"
really great documentary.. so inetersting to see how they work on the Nijinsky and their fight with Joubert. Dai siad it after 2006 in a Japanese documentary: "oh, my god! there was a God,I felt amazing aura, he couldn't hide it" about Plush
Plushy looks so ethereal here!
This was indeed a very powerful performance, and atmospheric with the greenish hue to everything and of course the fact that Edvin was there playing live!
and he was beautiful- his hair was extremly long then..looks so great!
Ohmahgawd, the footwork sequence there was epic!!! I also love the kiss blown to the crowdThe crowd loved him so much!
He lost to Joubert that was in my capitol, Budapest. That was one of his some bad skatings. But the audience loved him the most! In ECH 2014 Budapest we were walking on the street Plushy's chinese fans ( I met with them ) and on the great projector started to show Plush's Nijinsky program from 2004! That was totally surprise and everybody started to scream! Later in the Arena it was showed, too and Joubert came out and watched it.
Oooo I've never seen these two fan arts before...they're beautiful! I love the style of the second link in particular!
there are many! Last year I collected many fan arts and that was my gift for him if you remember..
All this makes me excited to see what Yuzu's going to do for his Tribute too...he's doing a competition this month right?
me, too..but not all of Plushenko Japanese fans like Yuzu's idea...![]()
The crowd loved him so much!
Sasha's way braver than me, I'm still scared of falling when skating
:agree:
OMG, this is hilarious!
