Yay Alison! I love this program, I love her skating, I have all my money in the Alison Schumacher bank of Next Top Canadian Lady. I think she just needs seasoning, to get a little more flow and comfort in the performance.

Also: can this camera guy please stop zooming in during both jumps and step sequences? Like, what is the point if we can't even see the landings and turns and steps....

Well that 3-3 wasn't really 3-"3", for one. Plus I don't think her PCS is as good as some Canadian seniors, kinda dismal as their TES can be.

She's old enough, but she underperformed at Nationals so she wasn't really in the mix for being sent to Senior worlds. And to be fair Alison tends to struggle with hitting a 3-3 consistently in the free as well. I think she's got the talent to develop farther than some of the senior ladies who placed ahead of her at Nationals, but she's not quite there yet. I do think she should move up to seniors next year too, though.
