Literally all of Andrea's step sequence was zoomed in so we couldn't see her feet, great... just great... tomorrow we'll have to rely on eyewitness testimony to tell us if Trusova and Scherbakova landed their quads or not... because it sure as heck won't be on video

I don’t think the final flight in men’s received inflated PCS. ( with the exception of Grassel). So, hopefully they will be fair in ladies, too.

I think Krasnozhon got inflated PCS too--overall my impression was that the judging did get more lenient as the competition progressed. I largely gave it a pass since everyone was so close anyway and placements in men don't tend to come down to small point differences, but that's less the case in ladies.

Really like Haein. She has a lovely floating quality and better SS then the other Korean juniors ... pity about the axel..

She's such a beautiful skater... Very soft and calm. I could watch her all day. And everything went well until that axel. I didn't expect that.

... well, that aside she is amazingly talented and only thirteen, so I hope she can wow the JGP next season and make it to the finale. She got 4+3 this season, so it's definitely possible.

Fair, I agree but I think Petr and Stephan also got inflated PCS compared to the rest of the field and they were in earlier groups— I think that might be more reputation PCS than skating order.

But, you are right that ladies is scored differently. I hope they are fair today.

it was definitely under but the 3F looked very good.
Too bad about the axel though. I don't think she has made that kind of mistake in the SP this season... This was probably nerves. :sad4:

Can't they still do that? Young You is yet to come and Haein can have a redemption skate in the FS... You have so many great junior skaters, it would be a shame if you didn't get three spots for next year.

Yes, we do! Why isn't he doing Junior Worlds anyway? JGP is always so great to watch, very professional too. There's something missing without him.
