2019 Junior Worlds Ladies Short Program

Scores are very low so far, which makes me believe they inflate the ones in the final groups to increase the gap.

Wait for Sasha getting 80. :dev2:

I don't either. That music is... weird.

I'm curious to read the protocols, cause Sinitsyna should have received a personal best here and for some reason score is very low for her, i thought Kuzmenko and Kawabata were lowballed in components.

Me too. The PCS are just too low for some skaters, especially Kseniia and Anna. Tomoe as well but her technical score held her down anyway, unfortunately. She keeps losing points on spins and it seems she had an UR somewhere too. I would have had Kseniia at 70-72 points, Anna at 67 and Tomoe 65... But what do I know...

Lucrezia Beccari is nice to watch, a soft gentleness about her.

if this is anything like Senior WC, maybe it's because they skated in early groups.
Last group will probably get more generous scores.

Well done, Lucrezia! I really like her skating, it has a calm, soothing quality to it.

These scores are indeed harsh... Anna certainly deserved more than 23 piddling PCS... Tomoe at least could have been over 60, idk... if we start seeing wacky numbers in the final flight I'm going to be annoyed :dev2:

I don’t think the final flight in men’s received inflated PCS. ( with the exception of Grassel). So, hopefully they will be fair in ladies, too.

It's still unfair. Why should there be asuch a large gap between someone like Sasha and Kseniia for example, just because the latter skates in an earlier group? Quality should be rewarded, no matter the starting order. But of course, that's figure skating scoring at its finest and we all know it...

Really? That's good then. I'd be glad to take my words back.

Literally all of Andrea's step sequence was zoomed in so we couldn't see her feet, great... just great... tomorrow we'll have to rely on eyewitness testimony to tell us if Trusova and Scherbakova landed their quads or not... because it sure as heck won't be on video :palmf:

I'm late for the party but I came in just in time for my fave Haein Lee :luv17:
I hope she skates clean!

I doubt Sasha or Anna can get 80. They would have to land their big tricks which is risky. Someone said the scores are low but not really. There are still like 12 skaters inclding most of the top skaters. Also this is not seniors. PCS are much weaker.

It's always happening and it's annoying.
