I love this, they picked the best of each skater-great compilation! Everyone had some slip ups, but they are still a wonderfully talented group. (I mean mostly the girls)

I’m excited to see that Liza Kuliakova and Nastya Zinina got JGP spots- they were the two who stood out to me the most at Test Skates!!
I’m also looking forward to seeing Dasha Sadkova- she became one of my favorites last season. Her potential for the future is HUGE.
However, I am sad that it looks like Anna Frolova will miss out. She is such a beautiful and classy skater but unfortunately she does not have the big elements.

What’s the point to make another vaccine if there’s nobody to take it ? I read the sputnik light is a mono vaccin like the Janssen. At least you don’t need a second shot.
Unfortunately, this version also can't be prescribed to vast majority of Russian ladies due to age restrictions.

Despite everything, it was a very nice competition to watch but surely you must be joking about those two Korean girls being able to challenge the podium with the full lineup...

Yes, I was. Ahsun beat Young You last year in domestic competition. She skated far below potential here.
Ahsun Yun was second at Korean nationals where she beat Haein Lee and Young You among others and scored 197.99.
Maybe the long flight, time difference and being a first start of the season. She'll be there next weekend (with Kaiya) as well, if I recall correctly
197.99 overall or FP only?

I took a look at the FP in Courchavel. Well, our girls (and the Japanese) were certainly missed. It's good for US and Canadian girls to feel what it is to be on the international podium. I hope it will give them motivational boost and, hopefully, performance boost as well. Winning with 181 is unusual, though. I can't remember when it last happenned. Fair selection criteria for the final are important then.
