2021 Skate Canada: Free Dance

That was a really unique free dance that I somehow found totally riveting. I don't understand how their tech score is still so much lower than Davis/Smolkin though... were they really that good??

Davis/Smolkin were getting GOE's on their elements that were way beyond what they put on the ice and deserved. IMO, their PCS is also a little on the high side. Suffice it to say that they are being set up as the 2022-2026 Russian dance #1, as soon as the current top crop of S/K, S/B, and Z/G presumably retire after this Olympics.

That was great! It reminds me of programmes from back in the day during the old judging system. So much creativity. Although the tech score still not beating D/S.

It reminded me of a program (from back in the day) by Klimova & Ponomarenko. I really liked it (including Caroline's costume)!

I guess if you're into conspiracies, There's also the one about how there's an attempt to increase D\S's score
so Russia could use them in the Free Dance Team portion at the Olympics, Thus making Eteri's
daughter an Olympic Champion, And also forcing Piper and Paul to compete both events
while S\K only do one

we have to use to that, they are gonna be scored massively in the future... it seems that they are amazing now, consedering that it is first senior season and they got high goe out of nowhere, while they dont deserve it , pathetic
