Mark's vlog for Channel One

Skating well at the TE could also turn him into a possible outlier for bronze. Scores tend to go up from the TE to the individual competition, and he could cash in on a good showing here to prop him up for next week. He’ll need all the help he can get.

Will Mark do the same jump layout as in Europeans? If so, I will be so scared for his combination.

He did in the practise run-through. And I hope he goes for it! I am all for putting the tech out there if you've got it. This is a sport after all and you won't achieve anything great by playing it safe.

I don´t mind him doing two quads. I´m just nervous if he is doing the combination on the second quad.
It is very stable for him, so I can't imagine him not going for it when he needs to score as high as humanly possible.

Well it was great at Europeans. But can you imagine what will happen if he misses his combination? :slink:

Heh, it is better here, but the team event starts during a skating class for me. I should be home in time for second warm up group though… :cheer:

Personally, I am happy Kondratyuk skates both events, if we couldn’t have Kolyada. He has the thickest armour from all the teen titans, with two fresh titles, serious latest score, and he is the least impacted by growth/puberty this specific February.

I prepared for todays skating for 3 days. Today I stand up at 2pm German time, so I can stay awake the whole night. :rofl:I´m so addicted  But I couldn´t miss M/G´s skating for everything in the world.

I am taking days off on the next day after having to stay up late. Like, I am watching team event late tonight, so I am taking tomorrow off. All these Russian competitions trained me to get up at 3 am so I can catch some of it before work… but that skating class timing is just ridiculous coincidence, because it’s only 30 min a week (and my only chance to get into our arena, otherwise I wouldn’t have subjected local teens to having to teach me… I am happy with public skate, but yeah, Covid restrictions.)

I´m studying and I do it from home. So I can do something for university at every time of the day. But I don´t think I will do much in the next 3 weeks. :slink:

Oh gosh! It's really happening! Fingers and toes crossed for Mark! He has to compete in the first event, hope the pressure isn't too much.

Although the times seem to be different from the time schedule I downloaded from Twitter 🤔

Checks...oh it turns out the person who made the thing got the time conversion wrong.

That's annoying I could have done a half day at work.

Ah well, ca la vie. I've got leave up my sleeve.

Time conversion can be difficult. I actually thought it would start 2.00 a.m German time, but it is actually 3.00 a.m.
