He’s usually cool as a cucumber but after that combo he was turnt. The intensity was what put it over the top and what was missing in the team SP.

I would imagine that Morisi decided to represent Georgia for the opportunity to represent a country that doesn't have as much (or any) competition in the men's so he can go to Euros and World easily. I mean, he was a much weaker skater in a rather deep Russian field back then. I suppose he could go back to represent Russia, but I think he (and Georgie) is comfortable where he is.

Real quick my thoughts on the PCS scoring: I think Yuma's PCS was too high mainly in PE, INT and TR but he does have ridiculously good SS and very good CO (his ice coverage is some of the best in the field, thanks Ice Stats). I think a 45 would've been fair for that skate, but he deserved second here based on technical. Jason deserved higher PCS and maybe should've been ahead of Morisi, but not by much. Hanyu is a fantastic performer with great SS and TR (the best in the field, matched only with Jason) and while parts of the program were a little flat, he did perform well despite the major mistake. Again, I might've had him in front of Zhenya but not by much. So, I just go

Imagine thinking that doing quads justifies sky-high PCS.
Nobody would care about Nathan Chen's program if he skated for Thailand and had done 3Flip and 3Lutz+3Toe. But apparently that one extra revolution on a jump makes you artistic.
Quads used to add to a performance because you could see the excitement coursing through people's veins when they landed them, and they went into them with speed and explosive quality off the ice. Now it's just perfunctory; carefully modulated with less amplitude in the jump to control the rotation more easily, and people don't sell the landings. You can actually see how Chen has changed his 4Lutz technique since several years ago, he used to do it bigger.

That's why he's the wildcard.
There are 4 people between him and Shoma who are not capable of scoring near the 200s,
And Hanyu can break 200, Maybe even with a 4A<<, I'm not sure if his position will hurt his PCS.

Keegan is tough... the placement doesn't reflect his skate but the score does? He was just a little sloppy in the st sq which would then affect his PCS... idk don't listen to me I'm ridiculously sleep deprived. Let's all go take a nap!
