Ugh, the shallow edges and lack of ice coverage that Davis/Smolkin bring to their ice dancing should not be rewarded by this panel. They need to learn to get deeper in their edges and make their overall skating grander. I’m sure the panel will overmark them though.

So these two don't really make me 'feel' anything when I watch them, but they have really really nice deep edges so I expect to see good things from them in the future as their connection and performance skills grow.

They're build for light and classical. Anything that requires sass or sex appeal is a struggle for them. But, my god, when they're in their element
