that's another issue. You can get licenses to stream music too.

In that case they should include the licence to play the music in Youtube videos in their purchase, or get the ISU to pay all of it... but it's ISU afterall, what can we expect

You are just watching an ISU stream from which videos are never taken down... so somehow, the ISU is doing their things right here... it's some of the other events who are not paying their dues.

But also, for youtube, it can be random. Any person could make a troll copyright claim. Then, the channel needs to argue that they have the rights to stream that song either because they own it or paid their dues/acquired permission. Sometimes it can take time. Some channels don't care and get closed down (if it's a random dude who posted a figure skating fan cam for instance, I doubt he would be able to prove he was allowed to do so).

Good execution, but I'm pretty sure at least half of the jumps were supposed to be triples. Must have been a lot of pressure in front of the home crowd

i think the choreographers put them there, like a difficul transition, it probably works point-wise but it's awful to watch

True, but I think even some of the individual JGP videos aren't posted in Youtube due to that exact licensing issues?
David Shteyngart's FS this year for example, it's still nowhere to be found. So the blanket license might not be all-blanketing then?
