Selfish moment: I love her dress. Not my favourite Kaori program but she is really pushing herself artistically, which is what I want from a World Champion (or any skater for that matter). She seems to like this program and I love that slide in the choreo sequence!

Idk what is it with eurosport this season but it seems to me like the music is too quiet and commentary is too loud. I might have to mute commentary.

if you are using eurosport player then switch to the ambient sound option

Kaori's dress is just grande - And I love the little shimmy-like moment at the start of her choreo sequence Wish they played into that a little more, but I am enjoying her programs more and more with each outing.

She just seems so happy to skate them

Well, this was classic Kaori. A master of technique she has clearly become at this point. And good enough of an artist to be interesting and not leave me with any complaints.

Overall, my favourite and most personally impressive today remains Madeline. But, it is quite evident Kaori deserved the win today in regards to pure score. I didnt notice any glaring deductions today either, but I'm not an expert in that.

By the way, interesting to see 2-3-2 combos - you dont tend to get those in Russia.

Sorry folks I have not a lot to say today. I am very cranky and exhausted. The only programs I'd rewatch are Lari Naki-Gutmann's and maybe Maddie Schizas. The rest I will not recall what they skated to tomorrow. Even Kaori is barely holding my attention. I just may need sleep, but won't get it again until 15 hours from now.

I have to agree with that. Definitely not my favourite LP from Kaori. But yeah, she can sell it. I cannot wait to see her live.
