Im expecting a redemption from Maiia here despite some deep trouble yesterday. I think people are doubting too hard, shes been looking good in training.

I think the first one. +3Lo combos don't increase BV if you don't have ultra-c.

some things didn't work, but overall it wasn't too bad

Unfortunate, I could tell she was gassing out around half way. Just needs more training. But more hopeful than yesterday.

I guess thats why she looks good in training - she has the technique but not the conditioning for a full program itself.

A bit wild, and too wild in parts, but she didn't come to fool around. Great program, I hope she skates it clean soon.

I am not a fan of this look and also as a fan of Kovacs I'm disappointed they aren't doing anything with the music. That choreo was generic, she could have skated to anything.

In regards to her appearance - this kind of wild and bold hair and look is gaining popularity very quickly in Russia.

I know this is domestic scoring, but Maiia's score certainly was a choice by the judges.

She needs time and some confidence. Even before the injury she was a nervy skater. The kind of skater to send to a sport psychlogist.
